worked pretty good

Summary: Couldnt get this ram to go into 1600 but later found out my 2500k wouldnt allow me to anyway. one stick went bad sent it in to corsair within a week i had a brand new in the pack stick and everything worked perfectly from then on. gave these to my best friend and bought 4x 8GB cruical sticks at 1333 because i needed more to run vm servers and other things of that sort. these are a great pack to start out with any you wont need anymore for gamings sake.
Summary: Purchased a pair as part of a cheap bulldozer build. Cheap motherboard only had 2 slots for memory so I populated them with these. Worked fine at advertised speeds but was also stable o'clocked. Works well (if not better) than my g.skills on another machine. I was actually going to get another set of g.skills but these were on sale at $41 and some change at Ncix. Corsairs are normally my first choice for memory (and power supplies).
Summary: The v2.12 sticks currently being shipped generally don't overclock as well as the v5.x sticks previously available. I did manage to get them up to a stable 1866 n 10-10-10-2T , which is a half-decent boost.
Summary: I'm taking one star off here since this memory is really 1333MHz memory that has been tested to work overclocked at 1600MHz, and had a profile made for it. As such, when you install this memory it will initially show up as 1333MHz, and then you go into your BIOS and select XMP in your advanced options to enable the full speed of the module. Personally I'm not really keen on this since I feel that the memory should be advertised as 1333MHz and tested at 1600MHz.
Pros: Performs up to specifications
Cons: Requires MB overclock settings to reach 'stock' speed
Summary: The size and value of these is absolutely amazing. The heat shroud is only SLIGHTLY larger than the actual memory, and will definately fit under any sort of huge air heatsink you might have for your CPU Yet they still stay really cool to the touch. If you have stock memory, wait for the sales, and get these! Great upgrade from anything stock, old, you might have.
Pros: Great price, Great size, Can upgrade to 12gb or 16gb later with additional modules
