Summary: All is testing out OK on my new build, with only one wrinkle; my mobo identifying these 1600 MHz rated ram chips as running at 1333 MHz. A slight overclocking adjustment and they are running fine again at 1600 MHz. At some point, I will probably OC even slightly higher, but for now all test evaluations are running well. Using in new build with Core i7-4770k cpu for moderately heavy video/audio editing with of course, general MS Office applications.
Summary: Couldnt get this ram to go into 1600 but later found out my 2500k wouldnt allow me to anyway. one stick went bad sent it in to corsair within a week i had a brand new in the pack stick and everything worked perfectly from then on. gave these to my best friend and bought 4x 8GB cruical sticks at 1333 because i needed more to run vm servers and other things of that sort. these are a great pack to start out with any you wont need anymore for gamings sake.
Summary: Purchased a pair as part of a cheap bulldozer build. Cheap motherboard only had 2 slots for memory so I populated them with these. Worked fine at advertised speeds but was also stable o'clocked. Works well (if not better) than my g.skills on another machine. I was actually going to get another set of g.skills but these were on sale at $41 and some change at Ncix. Corsairs are normally my first choice for memory (and power supplies).
Summary: The v2.12 sticks currently being shipped generally don't overclock as well as the v5.x sticks previously available. I did manage to get them up to a stable 1866 n 10-10-10-2T , which is a half-decent boost.
