Summary: This ram is ok, I've had some issues with the heatsinks recently. It appears that after long use and some appreciable heat the glue/adhesive that keeps the heatsinks on gives up and the metal shroud needs to be re crimped in place.
Pros: Using XMP Profile I should be able to run this memory at 1600MHz the most I'm getting stable on my ASUS H97i-Plus is 1400, the memory throughput is also less then my GSkill modules I had, previous clocked 13Gbps and now I'm getting 11. Both the 1333 DDR3 GSkill Chips and the Vengeance LP chips ar...
Cons: Nor running at 1600, my mainboard lists this as a tested and preferred chip that supports XMP. Using XMP actually ran slower then not using it. Bummer.
Summary: i bought these because i basically mirrored my friend's pc build. he has this same ram and hasn't had a problem yet....i should've just looked at the majority of the reviews and stayed away.
Pros: -stylish -white sticks to match my white Thor case -low profile
Cons: started blue screening my pc after 8 months...spent a few days figuring out the RAM was bad. bought new corsair RAM (not these) and its weird because it was making my pc do funny things, really funny things.
Summary: these sticks are perfect at stock speeds and they play pretty well with my other single 8gb stick in my rig. but when tried to overclock from 1600Mhz to anything above 1800Mhz, it tends to become unstable (even with an increase in DDR3 voltage to 1.6v) but at CL9 stock speeds it still performs...
Summary: I moved after I installed, highly doubt that caused anything. Caused my computer to crash so I found out which stick was bad and removed it.
Pros: Had 4 for about 6 months and worked great. Animations programs, Internet, games, videos, photos everything was amazing. Couldn't complain. Performance was always top notch, great for overclocking.
Cons: 1 stick did go bad so i'm down to 12 gb. Still fine on performance since all you really need is 8gb.
