Summary: What this case could have been! had the designers just opted to give it a half inch of extra space on either side. And those cheap hard drive rails! I tried to remove them to remount the hard drive in another position, and they snapped!! I would never buy another of these cases!
Pros: Solid construction, sturdy, plenty of cooling
Cons: No place to hide cables behind main board, hard drive juts out all the way to the side panel, no room for a tall CPU cooler, cheap hard drive rails.
Pros: Great quality and features at this price point. Solid. Great styling, Not to flashy. Plenty of room for average build. I have 3HDD and 1SSD. A Xigmatek Gia cooler (verry tall), A full size motherboard. MSI 7850, 2 optical drives and all fits nicley.
Cons: Could use a little more room behind the motherboard tray to hide wires, but is sufficient.
Summary: hey i know that it looks really bad to be able to list a lot more negatives than positives, but this is a great case for a new builder. it comes with a lot of good features for ease and convenience, despite the minor flaws.
Pros: -plenty of fan space -roomy with plenty of cable space behind the motherboard -convenient and easy drive bay setup
Cons: -kinda wish the side panel was larger -the front usb 3.0 hookup needs to be run through the top of the case, out the back and then plugged into a usb 3.0 hub on the back of the case, which is somewhat tacky -the manual is extremely minimal and doesn't really help me distinguish parts -the PWR swi...
Pros: Looks like a premium case for a gamer that wants to show off. Great built quality and really well done paint job.
Cons: Restrictive fan vents. Not so great included fans. USB 3.0 front panel ports requires a too-short, fat ugly cable to be run along the top, out the back, and into a rear port on the motherboard - absolutely horrific design.
Summary: You get what you pay for. Next time I will avoid Zalman altogether. Save yourself the trouble and buy another brand. Zalman quality is poor and customer service is poor as well.
Pros: OK case for the price, no problems except now the power button is broken. Which will require another case.
Cons: Overall a decent case for the price, caught it on sale with a rebate for around $40 after rebate. Unlike some users they did honor the rebate. However the power button is now broken, which seems to be a common problem with this product. I have emailed zalman and am waiting for a response. The tol...
Summary: got it for 30 dollars after the rebate and i consider it a good deal at this price range. If you are after a quiet case you can go with this one provided that you go for an aftermarket heat sink.
Pros: everything fit inside the case well. power switch worked without problems. fans is quiet. case is overall quiet. I am running only the rear single fan and have a AMD FX 6350 with a cooler master aftermarket 212 cooler and the case is silent. I am not overclocking so that cpu fan is bearing spinni...
Cons: top panel fit and attachment to case is loose and feels cheap. case feels light and a little flimsy at first but when you put all the components in feels more sturdy
Summary: I requested the RMA replacement part but they sent a defective part. I asked it again then they never replied. A horrible company. Zalman USA won't honor their warranty.
Pros: Cheap, cheap nothing but cheap.
Cons: It has power switch problem. The power switch is sticky. When I press it in to power up, it does not pop back out. Then power switch will be permanently stuck. Sometimes computer doesn't turn on.
Summary: I am thinking about getting the cooler master 212 evo. If anyone has used the cooler with this case let me know please! fx6300 GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 xfx 7870 double d G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) Rosewill Stallion Series RD600 600W ATX12V V2.3 Seagate Momentus XT STBD750100...
Pros: 3x 120mm fans and are pretty quiet at 100%, window, and leds! This case has a decent mount of room in it. Wiring management is really good too so you can show it off! have had this case since February of this year and no problems. Bought this case because it was fairly cheap and because it came w...
Cons: The only con i had was around the outside the case where the the power supply sits, had a little bend in the mounting bracket where the power supply screws to..not really a con because its thin metal and was easily bent back without issue.
Summary: I've built several computers for the family over the past few years and I usually use mid or high end cases. This time I decided to spend less on the case and put more money into the CPU/MOBO. When I saw the Z5 Plus going for $25, I thought "WOW" - great value. This turned out to be such a mistake.
Pros: It's cheap. I got it for $25 after rebate. It is also light. For the price, it offers a lot. It has 3 fans and 2 sliding side panels for easy access to CPU fan installation and cable management,
Cons: This case feels cheap. The case bolts for my ASUS motherboard are too long. So it does not hold the mother board firmly to the case. I had to add a couple of washers to make the bolts work. It's a bad start! Within a week of my computer being build, the power switch was sticky. When you press it ...
Pros: *comes with three fans (2x LED) *has USB 3.0 *black interior *has fan controller This is a great budget case. Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend this case. All black with an all black interior w/ blue LED fans make it a winner
Cons: ONLY CON: * the USB "header" isn't an actual header, its just a regular USB plug. Fortunately there is a small notch at the back of the top bezel so you can route the cable to the I/O, which makes it fairly discrete.
