Good case for a standard build

Samuel M., Newegg

  • Summary: I do not really recommand it for the actual price (C$119) I got it for $C85. But this is a really nice case under 100$, will last forever. I own two of these and they got the same Pros and Cons.
  • Pros: Heavy case. Can fit a good 10,4 inch gpu in it. Black on black.
  • Cons: The fans bearing gets weak rapidly. (Runing at 40% of speed for a year) The panels are a bit hard to slide.

Decent case

Zach K., Newegg
31 March 2015
  • Summary: Try another company.
  • Pros: This case has nice lighting, and a decent amount of space inside. The rear exhaust fan is pretty good quality.
  • Cons: The stock intake and top mount exhaust fan are absolutely terrible, you will need to replace them for any decent gaming rig. They are relatively loud, and ineffective in their only function, moving air. There is also a piece of metal that prevents a straight line to the screws used to mount your ...

Gorgeous Case...If It Didn't Arrive Banged Up

Ashley C., Newegg
11 February 2015
  • Summary: I haven't received my components yet, so I haven't done a build with this case yet. I figured I would let people know that Zalman fixed the two issues of the USB 3.0s and the front plate that many reviews online complain about, so they don't go and buy an adapter they don't need, like I did.
  • Pros: Beautiful case. It is on the large side of a mid-size case, and it the ability to mount five fans, plus the design looks like it will have amazing air flow for cooling. I was happily surprised that some of the major flaws that I read in reviews before buying the case were fixed apparently (thanks...
  • Cons: See pros about comment on broken bits on front plate. On that note, the window on the side was scratched up and very very dusty on the INSIDE (so not a shipping error), and there were some dents on the side cover of the 80mm exhaust fans, on a part covered in the Styrofoam (again, not a shipping ...

functional

  • Summary: the front/top facing usb three options are not the most desirable. you have to run the cables from the front panel out the back panel into the true usb3.0 ports. causes the interior of your pc to loose some of that clean aesthetics when trying to manage cables.
  • Pros: spacious. many options for fans and cooling. looks realy cool. interior has space for good cable management behind the side panel
  • Cons: odd shape may not fit in tight spaces, nor more uniform rectangular desk cubbies.

Good cooling, good looks, difficult to work with

Jeremy V., Newegg
12 July 2014
  • Pros: Very impressive looking case with tinted window and pretty lights. Airflow is good- lots of fans, with room for even more. Cable management is solid, plenty of space behind the motherboard to route cables, with one annoying flaw I'll mention in the cons section.
  • Cons: There are some significant design flaws with the usability of this case. The aperture behind the motherboard intended for routing the CPU 8-pin power connector turned out to be too small to fit my connector, once the motherboard was installed over top of it. This meant I had to temporarily unseat...

User Review

15 May 2014
  • Summary: I was mislead a bit in thinking it would support a 240mm radiator on top out of the box. It does, but not without some modification, as the 120mm fan spots are just spaced out slightly, and the motherboard barely fits in under if you do mount it.
  • Pros: Great cable management, ventilation, quality, accessibility, accessories, hardware.
  • Cons: Doesn't actually support 240mm radiator heatsink.

good case

Patricia C., Newegg

  • Summary: I got this case in a combo deal and was pleasently surprised.
  • Pros: quality case. plenty of fans, plenty of room. nice style.
  • Cons: top of case has fins for a fan so stacking objects on the case like a modem, or router won't really work. power button and reset are on the top front so every now and then my cat jumps on them.

  • Summary: This is an amazing case but one of the USB 2.0 ports is dead and there isnt a internal 3.0 header. It needs to be routed out of the back (i ordered an adapter). Other than that, this case is perfect!
  • Pros: Lots of space, big case, nice fans, USB 3.0
  • Cons: No USB 3.0 internal header

Update: Almost 2 years Later

Jesse B., Newegg
28 January 2014
  • Summary: All in all, it is a decent case, although I think I may have grown out of it as things seem cluttered inside my case.....despite doing my best at cable management. Perhaps I need a full tower. Anyway, the case is very nice looking and it has served its purpose.
  • Pros: Very good looking case. Reminds me of a B2 stealth bomber or a Black Bird. There is enough room for a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo to fit perfectly Plenty of ventilation options. You can install up to 7 fans. I love that it has 2 120mm slots to exhaust air through the top of the case....(although ...
  • Cons: Now that I've had time with the case for almost 2 years I've seen the best and the worst of it. Although it does have cable routing/management options, there is VERY LITTLE space between the back of the motherboard tray and side panel to fit all of your cables there. I would really have to pack t...
