  • Summary: I also have a Zalman ZM-T1 and it's a nice case, for the price
  • Pros: Nice little case for the price
  • Cons: I do not like the controls on the top of the case, (start button etc ) not user friendly, as you can't even see the case when sitting. Would not buy this case again, the same case with the controls on the front is ZM-T1 Zalman

Looking Good

Michael H., Newegg

  • Summary: I really enjoyed putting this thing together. My last two tower cases have always had the major buttons and connectors on the top, and honestly I will never go back. I built this for a customer, and he likes this as well.
  • Pros: Great looking case. Extremely versatile. Good lighting colors/ Great connection locations. Perfect size.
  • Cons: none

Decent Case

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: Overall good case, I am a Lian-Li guy ad this one was 100x better than the first Lian-Li mini-itx case I tired for this build.
  • Pros: Size and price, very inexpensive and compact without being too cramped inside. Installed a MSI mini ITX board in this with a corsair full modular PSU and it all fits well. Plenty of fan mounts also.
  • Cons: Hard drive placement is a bit odd, but after seeing many types of cases like this I don't think there is a great way to shove multiple full sized hard drives in something this tiny. My only real gripe was that there was not much room to use the SATA power cable that came with the corsair PSU. the...

Good but could have been a little better

  • Summary: If this case got a little more attention and refining it would be a wonderful case that I would recommend to anyone looking to build a small form factor computer.
  • Pros: The case looks rather nice, it is about the average computer height but not nearly as deep. The hard drive mounting is intuitive and space saving. The price was good. Most of the case is metal and feels like it will last for some time.
  • Cons: I wanted to just love this case but the difficulty of putting the computer together in this case made me wish I got a different brand. 1. The motherboard standoffs do not line up. (big deal to me) I was not able to use 3 of the screw options on my mATX board 2. The disk dray mounting is poor and ...

  • Summary: Disappointed in the quality of this case, specifically the off center positions for the motherboard standoffs. This made installing the motherboard much more difficult than it should have been.
  • Pros: -Looks nice and sleek -Bottom-mounted PSU position (most mini-towers I've seen are top-mounted) -Bottom vent and dust filter for PSU -Dust filter included for optional front fan
  • Cons: -Missing motherboard standoffs -Motherboard standoff positions off center -Removable internal panel difficult to reinstall

  • Summary: Although the HDD mount was kind of weird, and I had to look at the manual to make sure that was where it went, it is actually a clever idea at the same time. Mounting it flat against the front or the removable internal side panel is a good idea, and it clears room inside the case.
  • Pros: Nice looking case, good price. Everything in it is well built. good design for a microATX. HDD mounting position keeps it out of the way. Bottom mounted PSU is a good design for this case. Blu-ray fit in, works as advertised. Part of the internal side panel is removable for easy build.. A nice fi...
  • Cons: The only real issue I had with this was mounting the HDD. Weird options to mount it. Have to use the straight end of the sata cable, the 90 degree bend won't fit.

Basic, functional, solid quality

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: Some tips for making the most of this case: Silverstone makes a 2.5" to 3.5" bay adapter (model# SDP08) with bottom mounting points, enabling you to have up to 5 SSDs or laptop drives in your build. That plus an optical drive would fill up your available SATA ports on many boards.
  • Pros: Compact size for available feature set Support for standard ATX PSU's 2.5" drive support Solid build quality, no sharp edges Adequate cable management options Support for larger video cards
  • Cons: Changing the RAM with the motherboard installed in this case is a challenge. Missing a single motherboard standoff. I don't like the 2 plastic motherboard standoff clip things either. I'm not super keen on the glossy plastic front bezel. USB 3 support would have been awesome. Would be awesome if ...

Fantastic bargain

Ari A., Newegg
1 May 2013
  • Summary: The case doesn't have a motherboard cutout for coolers, and it wouldn't make a difference, because the right side panel isn't even removable. This means that if you want to do cable management, you're going to have to lay down your cables before the motherboard goes in.
  • Pros: It's hard to find good micro ATX cases at any price, and finding one of this quality under $40 is amazing. Other than a few issues (see below), my build in this case went relatively smoothly, and it looks great. The first thing that sets this case apart is its very compact design. It's incredibly...
  • Cons: Some nitpicks here, none fatal for a case in this price range, but Zalman should consider them in an update: (1) the "mesh" filters are nothing other than metal panels with holes punched in them, and they're basically useless. They won't trap dust, but they certainly will cut down on air flow. Za...

Slim case

Nathan R., Newegg
7 April 2013
  • Summary: Wish they would just put some extra motherboard headers in there. And the thumb screws should be metal. All in all. This case is pretty freaking awesome! I like it and my wife likes it. It is a good compromise when it comes to size for both me and her since it is a smaller case in general.
  • Pros: This case is super sleek. It has room for installing things pretty easily. It comes with enough space for a microATX motherboard. The quality for price ratio is fantastic. It is painted inside and out and has safe rolled metal all around. It seems sturdy and comes with some extra screws and such....
  • Cons: For all the things I love about this case, I did run into a few things I did not like. 1. expansion slots are pop out and not screw mounted. 2. The thumb scews are not made of metal all the way round. They come with a plastic head, which leads to damage when tightening with a screw driver. 3. nee...
