MYRON W., Newegg
30 September 2014
  • Summary: I am currently still building this case and currently have 2odd 8 hdd swap bays in it. It allows flexibility to play with different OS easily. I am using 5 Orico hdd bays 1 Icy Dock 3 to 2 hdd holder. I replaced the one that came with the case as it is not all SATA3 from other reviews.
  • Pros: 10 5.25 bays, Quality build, Good looks.
  • Cons: None for my build

Wow, is this thing COOL!

Jason H., Newegg
14 April 2014
  • Summary: Like my title says: Wow this thing is cool. This is an outstanding high-end case for the money and should be on the short list for any big build.
  • Pros: Our customer needed a high-end video editing workstation, which meant lots of front-mounted ports and lots of expansion cards. He was also using an FX-9590 CPU, which requires water-cooling. We were able to install two optical drives, two 3.5" card readers, two 3.5" USB3/1394/eSATA interfaces, an...
  • Cons: It's a HEAVY booger, but that is to be expected with steel construction. That's the price of quality materials and sturdy construction, so no eggs off. The box arrived looking like the shipper dragged it behind the truck all the way from California to Texas, and three of the four screws on the bo...

Space, and bang for buck

Cody M., Newegg
19 December 2013
  • Summary: I see a few people on here wondering how to get the top panel off so they can install another fan on top, I had problems with this when I had to do it as well. The only way to get the top panel off is to pull it off, and you will have to pull with a lot of force, so much force you will be worried...
  • Pros: Lots of space, 2 usb 3.0's and 2.0's on the front, good fan options. Many drive slots, easy installation of drives, PSU is situated at bottom of case, great airflow. My cons section has a lot of words but they're minor overall and problems that can be fixed :)
  • Cons: In order to install another fan on the exterior ceiling of the case, you need to pull the top of the computer case off. And that was difficult, see my :other thoughts" if you aren't sure how to get the top off. Mic and headphone jacks on case don't appear to work, but it's probably my fault. The ...

A Great Zalman ATX Mid Tower Case

Greg V., Newegg
5 October 2013
  • Summary: I would buy this case again for my next desktop computer project.
  • Pros: This is one seriously sturdy, well made, good looking, high-quality, quiet, spacious ATX Mid Tower case with no exaggerated, gaudy, useless plastic material inside or out. I recently received mine and put it in service the next day after receiving it. Installing a new motherboard with 3 video car...
  • Cons: No cons I can think of.

Bang for Buck!

mark s., Newegg
24 September 2013
  • Summary: Preinstalled with top and back fans. One 80mm fan ready for install. Suggested placement for 80mm fan on center support that runs through case and you can move fan to optimal position. I use the center bar and clamps to help dress cables with zip ties.
  • Pros: Extra USB + USB 3.0 ports on front top of case. Interesting fan speed knob (looks like a volume control knob.) Full front of case has (10) sturdy clip-out covers, useful and each has dust filters! and looks kool. Stout rubber feet and bottom of case looks as good as top with glossy panel and desi...
  • Cons: Would like to have front mount fan options to draw air in (unit sits in a nearly enclosed cabinet.)

  • Summary: I'm quite happy with my decision to go with the MS800 Plus. This is the first case I have bought in 6 or 7 years and couldn't be happier. The top interface with fan control, USB 2.0/3.0 ports, audio ports etc. was one of the selling points for me and it sure is functional.
  • Pros: Lots of room, on the larger side of ATX mid towers, plenty of bays, hot swap bay, includes two 92mm fans and two 120mm fans! plenty of airflow, fan speed controller up to 6 fans, quality case
  • Cons: none as of yet

  • Summary: I got this for way less then current price. Even at over 100 its still a great case, i just happened to be lucky and find mine on a great deal. I saw that someone complained about the amount of drive bay converters, i find that Zalman gives you 4 and thats a deal all by itself
  • Pros: very well laid out case on the large end of mid towers. comes with an 8 pin extender for your psu. Very solid fan control good heavy construction. came with 4 5.25 bay converters.

Excellent

Edward M., Newegg
5 July 2013
  • Summary: I wanted a case that would accept a large number of 5.25" bay items, such as hot-swap SATA racks, control panels, and other accessories. It also had to have a professional appearance.
  • Pros: This is, without a doubt, one of the best cases that I've ever worked with. Very high quality of workmanship overall. It is more of a full tower than a mid-tower. Very sturdy, Smooth surfaces. High attention to detail. Slick and professional looking. Highly configurable with up to 10 external dri...
  • Cons: Even though the top vent has room for two fans don't expect to be able to install just any water cooling kit that has a double-length radiator (such as the Corsair H100i) - the screw holes just don't line up in most cases. It will take case modding to make it work. The stock case fans are on the ...
