  • Pros: I love this case, Its the first case that I have had that truly allows for multi-systems setups. It has full cable management properties, allows use of water cooling or air cooling. Fits just about anything you can throw at it. I love the fact that PSU is on the ground, however you do need to mak...
  • Cons: Probably the biggest down fall of it, is the compartmental set up. The plastic pieces can some time be hard to put together. After numerous times of taking it apart and putting it together i still run into some problems. Other than that i really dont have a problem

I love it, but.....

  • Summary: Even though i'm thinking of getting water cooling, air flow with this case is actually pretty efficient. It would have been nice if it came with a few slot covers too
  • Pros: It's got plenty of space to work with. I can, of course, fit as many drives as I need, where I need them. Not to mention that it's a solid case. Most plastic parts i've seen in computers are flimsy. This case, however, has few plastic parts to begin with; but any plastic it does have is solid. Al...
  • Cons: There are some down-sides. If I ever decided to add water cooling to my rig, i'm going to have to do some fancy work to get the radiator to fit; or take apart the top cover - there isn't much space around the upper area of the case. Also, the rear clips for the PCI slots are a little annoying. si...

cool case

  • Summary: i dont know why anyone would ever need an extra fan on the power supply but what do i know? i think with a little more tweeking thermaltech could have made the perfect case! hopefully they will take this case and make it better because i really do love it:)
  • Pros: keeps everything nice and cool. love the fact that there's a fan blowing right on my hd's plenty of room for further upgrading fans are pretty quit for having so many the fan behind the mother board really makes a difference, im using a amd athlon ll x 3 2.9 ghz with no aftermarket cpu fan yet st...
  • Cons: i wish it would have come with a fan speed adjuster. the fans on the top could go a little faster to gain more exhaust after awhile i have to be gentle with the handle to the side panel. i don't know, it feels like it needs to be greased or something. need longer cables from my power supply to ge...

  • Pros: -Lots of room. -Awesome cooling -Fans are moderately quiet. -Design is incredible. -Easy to wire. -Sturdy Construction.
  • Cons: -Had to remove a couple of the handles to get things to fit -Separate cooling area plastic pieces flimsy, tough to get back into place. -Only 1 LED fan: the front -Mostly plastic construction. More than I initially believed.

User Review

  • Summary: Maybe I'm a bit nit picky, but the the Power switch, reset switch, and LED wires could have been sleeved rather than being left loose. Would have been nice for the front panel to be relocatable as my case sits on the desk, not on the floor which basically makes them useless to me unless I want to...
  • Pros: There's a ton of pros from the cable management to the overall design of the case. There is tons of room to work with and all kinds of different ways to route the cables around to hide them. The fan on the side is not as loud as some say, nor is the handle or dividers as flimsy as some say. Case ...
  • Cons: The cable management holes in front of the motherboard could have run the whole length of where the motherboard goes in order to help with cable management. Fan on the side panel does not have a dust filter, vents do not have dust filters although they allow air input. Top fan wire could have bee...

excellent case with lots of options

Christian H., Newegg

  • Summary: This is my first new case in many years, I'm in love with the advances that have been made in construction & cooling. In general, this is a very high quality case, and I love all of the features.
  • Pros: * Cable management system * Excellent cooling * Lots of room * Great looks * Tons of options
  • Cons: * Would have liked a motherboard tray at this price range. * At this price range, it would be nice to have more options for lighting, like a multi-color/variable lighting system. * Door latch had problems after a while, the springs were too tight for the sliding mechanism. This can be worked arou...

Awesome Case for the Open Minded

Anonymous, Newegg
14 April 2010
  • Summary: Ultimately I feel you can build one seriously nice gaming rig with this case so long as you remeber to take care when working with the plastic pieces and dont nerd rage them to death. Not a perfect case by any means but deffinately one worth what you paid for it.
  • Pros: This case is very nice for the features it is packing. Yes it packed full of plastic but frankly this case would weigh in the neighborhood of 200+lbs if you were to make all or most components metal. If you know what your doing and think about how you place your fans etc in this case you can get ...
  • Cons: Keep in mind that this case does have alot of plastic, so take moment when you nerd rage at the fact your mom/girl friend/wife is complaining about how the only friends you seem to have any more live in side your computer and you forgot to take out the trash before ripping the plastic handle off ...

Great Case.

  • Summary: Great case. Nice to work inside. Great for modding.
  • Pros: Just read the features. This case is something special. I won't blather on about how great it is. More info in the cons.
  • Cons: Took of one egg for the poorly designed handle. It's a great idea and would be very nice but the mechanism isn't very elegant. It just doesn't release like it should. The feet are kind of cheep too.

Great!

Chark Y., Newegg

  • Summary: Bought this for a friend. Could be a con or not but it is pretty light but not the easiest to find a way to carry it, ended up just carrying it from the bottom.
  • Pros: Looks really good and the black paint inside the case is a plus. Just what u need for a gaming case and with great cooling. The feet is nice to have, increasing the distance between the ground and computer like half an inch, creating better air flow on the bottom if you have a fan there.
  • Cons: the plastic dividers kind of suck if you have a full build system. It gets in the way and you will end up taking them out.

Great cooling,

  • Summary: The pros greatly outweight the cons with this case i cant see myself useing another full tower besides this one. some tiny improvements ie the handle and fan speed would make this case a must have for any computer builder that wants a full tower.
  • Pros: Great Look! Awesome cooling, cable management is really nice and has tons of space for these massive new video cards.
  • Cons: Like someone else said the handle is cheap. the springs in the handle were either too strong or the plastic too weak. i broke mine about a month in trying to open the case. i wasn't really angry with it broken it actually opens a lot easier. (you can reach your finger in and hit the lever to open...
