Thermaltake Armor+ VH6000BWS Full Tower Chassis

big bruin
22 July 2008
  • Summary: The Armor+ VH6000BWS full tower chassis will not frustrate, and will not disappoint. There are plenty of tool-less features included to simplify the installation process, and the only components that required a screwdriver were the motherboard and power supply. The design of the case is slick and attractive, but doesn't go over the top.
  • Pros: » Simple, yet attractive design, » Spacious interior, » Plenty of hard drive installation locations, » Plenty of tool-less features, » Decent out of the box cooling thanks to the three high quality fans included, » Room to add plenty of extra fans, » Front panel design protects devices against physical damage without blocking them completely, » Comes with a dust cloth to satisfy all the neat freaks out there
  • Cons: » Front panel audio connection cable should be longer, » Tight fit for SATA cables behind hard drive cage, » Will not fit on tight/modest desktops, must sit on floor or a sturdy surface

Thermaltake Armor+

Legion Hardware
27 November 2007
  • Summary: The Thermaltake Armor+ really is one of the best computer cases we have ever seen, and we really mean that. While not completely flawless, there is very little not to like about this case. Although some might say that the sheer size and weight of the Armor+ are among the biggest disadvantages users will face, we believe them to be advantages of this case. Of course the weight can be a bit of a problem, as this case does weight 17kg before you put anything in it.

  • Conclusion: The Thermaltake Armor+ VH-6000 is only set to be released on the 1st of January, hence we are unable to provide an recommended retail price now. Overall, this is a chassis with a number of useful features. With plenty of cooling options, including a massive though quiet side fan, and a spacious interior that supports an amazing number of expansion slots and hard drives, the Armor+ casing will definitely appeal to both gamers and enthusiasts alike.

Thermaltake Armor PLUS VH6000BWS - Black Metal Window

5 February 2008
