  • Excerpt: Hard-core PC builders, take note: If unpainted innards (and a lofty price) don't faze you, the Element V is a nice den for your components.
  • Pros: Plenty of room for drives and cards, Abundant cooling options, Generous front-panel ports, Color-shifting fans give the case personality (and can be turned off)
  • Cons: Unpainted inside, Possible power- and reset-button placement issues, Slightly heavy and pricey

Thermaltake Element G Mid Tower Case Review

27 August 2009
  • Summary: Let’s Light It Up! The first thing that you notice when you turn the Element G on is the lights on the fans. When you first turn on the case you may think that the fans are just one color. But press the large knob at the top of the case in and you will see that the colors of the fans change, you can even turn the lights completely off, which is nice. Also the knob controls the speed of all 3 fans.

Thermaltake Element G Mid Tower Case

  • Summary: has supplied its customers with top notch products for some time now and the Element G is no different. It is a well thought out case that includes the basics we expect, and some interesting extras to set it apart from the large crowd of cases out there. I didn't find that the lack of a tool-less design constituted a flaw, so with that in mind the only real flaw I could find was a lack of an eSATA connection on the front panel. So in the end what are we left with?
  • Pros: » Great cable management, » Well ventilated, » Lots of hard drive space, » Fan & LED control
  • Cons: » No eSATA connector
