Air flow problems - Noisy

Mark E., Newegg
19 November 2008
  • Summary: I like large tower cases, but this case seems big just to brag without the engineering thought that other case manufacturers apply which help compensate for the disadvantages of bigness; internal cable length issues being just one of many that can plague poorly designed big rigs.
  • Pros: Steel commodity prices are down so this case may become less expensive in the future.
  • Cons: Where to begin. I helped a good friend assemble a gaming rig using this case. Full disclosure, my review contains only one data-point, other reviewers here it seems have used the case many times, though I have been putting together systems since 1976, the S100 bus days. Small Problems

Brian S., Newegg
13 August 2008
  • Summary: if you don't plan on using any PCI cards its a great case, jjust be warned about this
  • Pros: It is a very nicely built case. there are 4 fans and both hard drive cages are placed in front of or behind fans.
  • Cons: i bought a sound card to put into my system with a PCI interface and in the process discovered that the back panel on it was about 1-2in too long for the slot the case had. this resulted in me needing to unscrew the back plate and letting the connectors just sit there in empty space, which is not...

Major Disappointment

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: I should have read the poor reviews before purchasing this case. This was the 10th case I've bought, not the worst, but definitely not the 5 star 1,000 plus review it got. If you are a casual user, this is not for you because the front headers are not easy to install.
  • Pros: Case is large, but what would you expect buying a full tower....customizable front panels let you put the power switch, optical drives, and other various devices anywhere up and down the front.
  • Cons: Power suppy location is weak. Any thing larger than a 700 watt psu will not allow the top fan in place because of the dimensions. Geting the psu in is also a nightmare, and I had to remove a lot of extra equipment. Tool-less assembly for hdd and optical drives is a joke. I ended up screwing every...
