Very good, Very reliable

Jesse B., Newegg
14 May 2012
  • Summary: I've owned this case since 2008. It's given me a great service and very little problems if any. It's carried me through AMD's Dragon Platform and now it's holding the HD7950. That beast of a videocard fits, but I've had to move the HDD's out of the way. Crossfire is going to be difficult.
  • Pros: -Spacious enough -Piano black finish -4 120mm fan mountings (1 rear, 2 side, 1 front) -Sturdy -Great air flow
  • Cons: -No cable management -The HDD mounts face to back of the case like most convetional cases.

Lovely Case! 5 eggs.

Onesimo G., Newegg
29 March 2012
  • Summary: I have this going with my old Asus P4P800SE Socket 478 Pentium 4 2.8c overclocked by 12.5% and the processor idles at around 32-34C in the case.
  • Pros: Awesome case. I have 4 120mm Thermaltake fans going in it. 3 LEDs blowing air in and 1 NON-LED blowing air out the back and boy does it look nice. My Motherboard temp idles t around 30C. -Looks awesome -Large window -Spacious -Sturdy -Filter on front fan port to help prevent dust from entering -V...
  • Cons: No cons. Thermaltake is an awesome manufacturer.

Great Case

Anonymous, Newegg
12 July 2011
  • Summary: If the hard drive bays were on swivel design allowing you to install the hard drive then turn it inward into a locked position. This would make installation a breeze, and make the case a true keeper for the ages.
  • Pros: The case has a beautiful design to it. Personally the major reason I bought this case was based on the hard drive bays, fan sizes, steel material, and it had fans without lights on it. The windowed design is good and allows you to see dust bunnies floating around. A great indicator for you to ope...
  • Cons: This is not truely a con. Personally These day I could do with two or even three drive bays [DVD, etc]. I only used one. This would allow for more hard drive bays. Sometimes it can be difficult to install the hard drives considering how big the video cards have gotten over the years.

not too shabby

Timothy C., Newegg

  • Summary: I had to buy this case at a local store. When I ordered all of my components and case from newegg the UPS guy decided to drop off the internals at my place and then drop the case off at my neighbors.
  • Pros: tool less, decent size, fits 4 120mm fans, front usb / headphone / and mic hook ups.
  • Cons: only comes with one fan, side panels seem a little flimsy. My headphone jack and USBs on the front of the case weren't working. I ended up going into the bios and changed the audio. I'm not sure if that's what fixed it but they seem to be working now

Glorious!!

Nathan C., Newegg

  • Summary: It's still such a beautiful case! (Did I mention that already?) despite it's problems, I gladly give this chassis 5 eggs.
  • Pros: Most beautiful chassis I have ever owned!!! Strong and sturdy. I love the tool free design. More than enough room for expansion. Great price.
  • Cons: Dust! I don't know why, but this chassis seems to suck up dust like a vacuum cleaner. It has never interfered with the components. But if your OCD about dust, you might want to consider a different case. Also, the front audio ports have never worked for me. I've tried several different main board...

Excellent Case

Keegan V., Newegg
2 August 2010
  • Summary: Intel DG41RQ Intel Dual Core 2.8 GHZ 4 GB DDR2 RAM Thermatake 430W PS XFX ATI HD 5670 WD 750 and 800 GB HDD
  • Pros: Sleek and elegant design. Easy to access the bays and install new drives, I love the simple locking system. Overall sturdy construction, and excellent design.
  • Cons: The case fan that came with the case failed me within a month, for all intents and purposes it exploded on me. Easily replaced it and added 2 Antec 120mm fans and a smaller on the side panel. Removed the obstructive fan spout, did no use but no harm either, user preference and board alignment as ...

Cool

Jordi L., Newegg
3 July 2010
  • Summary: And about the hard drive holders they may be flimsy but not enough to send your drives flying all over the case.
  • Pros: This case is awsome no matter what other people say, the fan in the back blows enough air to keep the case cool and its very quiet.
  • Cons: None.

1st Gaming Case

Mark L., Newegg
14 May 2010
  • Summary: Not a bad starter case at all.
  • Pros: Roomy(alot roomier than my rig's original Gateway Case). Was very easy to install all my components. The front filter helps with keeping dust bunnies out. Lots of fan mounts.
  • Cons: The tool free PCI stuff is weak but easy to remove(the case came with plenty of screws anyways) and the CPU funnel thing is completely useless.
