  • Summary: I will never buy another product from this company
  • Pros: looks nice
  • Cons: the power button breaks too easy I'm on my 3rd and guess what it broke again you think as many complaints they get about this the company would fix the stupid thing another thing the side panels are flimsy the plexiglass window broke too this case should've spent more time on the drawing boards

Nice

Noel S., Newegg

  • Summary: had to get filters for side vents and plug a massive hole on the bottom of the front cover to keep the dust out. Also had to take cover apart to fix the usb ports so they didnt look so bad, they worked the whole time, but ugly. also the headphone and Mic jacks seem messed up.
  • Pros: Sexy, black, fans included, Not flimsy, filtered front.
  • Cons: Side vents are not filtered, fans do not plug into mother board they plug directly into the power supply, front head phone jacks are starting to act up and usb ports look mangled.

Great Case

  • Summary: Very nice case.. Good looking aswell.
  • Pros: Well this case is a perfect size.. Great for building a gaming computer.. The fans work perfectly an no problems so far
  • Cons: The hard drive cases can be pushed in and look bad and annoy you. BUT if u push them really hard and tuck them UNDER the little plastic that holds them you should have no problems unless you swing at it with a baseball bat.

Review after some time has past...

Logan K., Newegg
12 March 2009
  • Summary: So far, its keeping all of my critical components cool. Running an 8800GT and a Q6600 can be pretty hot these days, so its understandable. I live in a basement, and its considerably cooler down here.
  • Pros: Good airflow. Thats probably the main positive about the whole case. The airflow is fantastic. If you put your hand in it (without touching critical components of course), you can feel air between your fingers. Which is good. But besides airflow, the case has a genuine this-is-a-gaming-computer f...
  • Cons: I suppose there has to be a problem with something. Nothing is perfect. There are quite a few sharp edges, particularly around the power supply region. When you have the side panel off, there are no problems with the borders around the panel, but its with the border around the back of the power s...

Not great to work with

Patrick E., Newegg
10 March 2009
  • Summary: Once I stopped bleeding from installing the PSU, I installed the rest of the parts & noticed that to install the drives or clean the intake filters, I had to wrestle the front cover off which has some cheap plastic clips...
  • Pros: Moderately attractive look. Rounded Edges inside (except where I cut myself & bled profusely).
  • Cons: Cheap plastic power button, razor sharp edges near the power supply (right where you need to tuck all those wires). The internal 3.5" bays are so close to the MB you can't slide them out without unplugging all of your wiring & being VERY careful not to snap off capacitors, etc.

  • Summary: had to knock off the egg for the HD cage otherwise i love it and would definitely recommend
  • Pros: Well built and sturdy, even the plastic. front fan filters. excellent airflow. looks real sharp. tool free clips are sturdy and secure
  • Cons: hard drive installation a bit of a pain without using a magnetic screwdriver but who's going to use that on a drive. oh well they're in there and i don't plan to swap out anytime soon

Re-view of my old review...

Logan K., Newegg
5 November 2008
  • Summary: The case itself is a very nice, genuine piece of work from Thermaltake. I love the overall design and the flexibiltiy in what I put in it. Nothing too difficult to place in it. One tip I do advise though, the front cover is removeable, but remove it from the top of the cover by pulling, and put it...
  • Pros: Well built, side panels are a slight flimsy but its only noticeable if you take apart your copmuter often, which I do. I like the HD cage for two reasons. Its removeable, and its got a fan to cool off my HD. The airflow is very nice. I can put my hand in the case and feel the air moving around. M...
  • Cons: The paint is easily stratched off. I have about 10 different spots where white is exposed do to it impacting something. And the side vents don't have filters.
