Summary: By a better made case, this seems to be built cheaply.
Pros: Looks great, runs very quietly and has plenty of space inside for anything you could possibly want to put in it.
Cons: The front hard drive fan started making groaning noises after about a month of owning it. The groans turned into it slightly contacting the inside of the case. I've had to leave the front face of the case slightly off to keep it from contacting.
Summary: I like the case. I really do. But when I pulled the hot swap bay that had held my primary HDD bay for 3 years without being removed, I discovered two problems. 1. The metal clips used to retain the hot swap trays in the case are not made of spring tempered steel.
Pros: Looks sharp Lots of expansion space USB 3.0 Lots of fans (quiet fans too)
Cons: Filters do nothing Poor quality materials Not built to last
Summary: Previous computer was a Hewlett "Corporate" Packard, which died after several years of service marked by constant repairs and endless searches of parts you can't find and on the off chance that you do, can't afford.
Pros: Big, but not big enough. Be aware what mobo you are choosing. Great customer service from Newegg and Thermaltake.
Cons: Power switch was not working on arrival! Was able to gorilla glue it back and now its working fine .Upon scanning reviews, I found that this was a common problem. This was my first rig and if I didn't use reviews as source, I would have had to return it. The plexi screen came scratched to the poi...
Cons: Way overpriced/ Fan controller does not work at all, I ended up disconnecting it and running all my fans straight to the MB and I only have blue fans now because the colors can't be changed. The drive bays are difficult to slide drives in and have them connect properly. I'd never buy this one aga...
Pros: The head phone holder, HDD bays and air filters.
Cons: The wiring areas gap is too small, was hard getting the wiring all right. The space from the side door fan to the GPU is small, so for GPU's that have a top power the power cables can hit the fan vents. Air flow is bad, like really bad... The fans out the box are in my other review of this they h...
Summary: Parts should be easier to find 5 months old and already making noise.
Pros: Great Case with Cable management and plenty of room. Bigger Case than I expected
Cons: Colorshift Fans start making noise in just a few months, Thermaltake ignoring my emails and requests for replacement Fans. I would just buy one to replace the noisy one but cannot find them online
Summary: The hot swappable bays do not work for me. Only the first and second drives get power. I just don't think one SATA power is enough to power five hard drives. I even got another backplane from Thermaltake just in case mine was faulty.
Pros: Lots of space Looks cool Mostly well built Some nice small features
Cons: Hot swappable bays don't work(the main feature of the case) Case handle started pulling apart from the case from one use Light strip on the front doesn't work Not enough room in the back for cable management
Summary: Probably not going to buy Thermaltake again. NZXT, while annoying at times, generally has much higher quality cases.
Pros: It's a beautiful case...but the plastic exterior puts me off a bit. I wish it were metal. It has cool LEDs that can change color, and the custom fans are included. That was pretty cool.
Cons: I've been lusting after this case since, what, tenth grade? I'm 21 now. Maybe it was later than that, I dunno. Then I got it, and was stoked to see it had hot-swappable hard drives. Each hard drive bay came with a little thing that you plug the hard drive into one end, and then plug the SATA cabl...
Summary: So close. But they really messed it with simple design errors. Would advise other cases. I went for it because it looked like you could easily put disc drives in and out on this. Not true.
Pros: Solid. Large, capacious interior with which to work. My first build of a computer, and this was fairly straightforward. Plenty of room to tuck cables out of the way, 3 good fans, lots of lighting options. Plenty of 5.25" bays.
Cons: Many: 1. The 5 swap bays REQUIRE that you physically screw in the hard drives and SSDs to secure them in place, and you MUST use the special screws they provide, else the trays aren't flush and can't slide in. This is far from easy hot-swap despite the appearance. 2. No USB 3.0 ports in front. Yo...
Pros: Very innovative concept, the lockable HDD bays and side panel door is very useful for keeping curious kids away. Includes three 200mm fans for quiet operation.
Cons: Don't buy this case, simple as that. The door lock mechanism was broken upon arrival, upon specific inspection I saw that the metal spring operated shaft was misaligned with the eject button. The entire case is made of cheap plastic except the bare minimum of the essential skeleton. The handle is...
