excellent value

  • Summary: i didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new case and i didn't want a door covering my front drive bays. this case does the job and looks great - even the insides have been painted black. you can add plenty of fans, but the case top and front are fully-vented (and some of these have dust filters).
  • Pros: price, features, colors, weight, airflow. SSD slot. both sides removable make installs easy.
  • Cons: if i had to find any gripes: door uses thumb screws rather than a handle to release it; the included fan has a blue LED instead of red; i didn't even bother to hook up the top SATA dock - which prevents you from installing anything in the top bay. ...still a great case.

Best case I've every bought

Mr. K., Newegg
25 December 2012
  • Pros: Best case I've ever bought, very well thought-out and built despite low price.
  • Cons: Discontinued ( of, course it is, not flashy but excellent value and quality at at low price.)

  • Summary: Put a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX mb and a AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ with stock cooler that came with it.Has about 1.5in from top of case to cpu fan plug and 2in to cpu cooler so 200mm fan fit good and still has room for bigger cooler if needed.
  • Pros: Lots and lots of fan slots even has a 80mm slot under the hard drives. Two 140 or one 200 & one 140 on top. Plus A 140mm in front/bottom side/ back & the 80mm on bottom. I like the bottom Mount ps cause the mb sits higher and the side panel fan blows straight on my two 450gts video cards. THE top...
  • Cons: I have a 40mm fan that puts out more air the the fan that comes with it. I put a Rosewill RFA-120-WL 120mm 4 White LEDs70cfm fan on the back instead & it would light up but would not turn so I TOOK SIDE OFF and it work good. The top left side panel screw is to long and would lock it up.I had a 12...

User Review

Anonymous, Newegg
23 October 2012
  • Summary: Big. I can't immagine anything I would do different. Doesn't have USB 3.0 on the front, but my mobo has a 3.5" drive for mounting on the front.
  • Pros: Beautiful! Totally solid. I only just got it today, so I don't know if the face cove will end up being a problem (it just pops on and off weather or not the other sides are off). I mounted 4 extra 120 mm fans in it (25mm thick), wonderful airflow!
  • Cons: Newegg shipped it to me in it's original box. As in the original box wasn't inside of a Newegg box. So when it was delivered it was all dusty. Also, the inside SATA cable (for the top HDD slot) was a little dusty (odd). Lastly, I don't plan to use the top slot, so I wish it had a cover or somethi...

Excellent!

  • Pros: Case is very light but very durable. Case fans are almost silent and I did not encounter any sharp edges. The case was a joy to work with.
  • Cons: Glows blue in places, which can be a pro if you don't leave your computer on 24/7 in your bedroom. Also, the caddy on top blocks the top bay for the large drive bays, so my DVD drive had to go in the second slot. No big deal. I wish the APU fan lined up with the vent on the side, but it runs cool...

Excellent Case and a Great Value

Computer L., Newegg
19 March 2012
  • Summary: This is a really nice case. You can find it without the rebate (not a fan of rebates) a bit cheaper elsewhere online. Is it a a top of the line brushed aluminum with 4 fans already installed? No. But it's one of the nicer mid-range towers I've seen.
  • Pros: One of the nicer cases I've worked with as far as build quality. No sharp edges, nice threading on the screws, the front pops off and on almost effortlessly. Enough wire routing options to keep things tidy. Plenty of room and air venting options (dust filters are a nice touch). Is SSD ready. Top ...
  • Cons: Only comes with 1 fan. Not the sleekest looking case. Not the highest quality metal, feels a bit heavy.

Very impressed

Brandi B., Newegg

  • Summary: For the price this case is going for there is no better deal out there. Cools better than my HAF 932 but because of the smaller size is harder to work with. For my purposes this case is much more practical than a huge fully loaded full tower.
  • Pros: Very high quality build. Thicker metal than other cases this price. 7 case fan mounts (using them all) gives plenty of ventilation. Nice paint job. Will fit large graphics cards (Radeon 7950). Large back plate cutout makes installing CPU coolers much easier.
  • Cons: Larger CPU coolers could cause space problems. Zero real cable management. HDD Dock is pointless. The rear facing HDD bays make plugging in multiple HD's a much bigger pain than it needs to be, side facing would be much better.

Fantastic Case

Jerry A., Newegg
17 January 2012
  • Summary: Of all the cases I looked at under $70 this was the best I could find. I was very impressed with its features. I am very happy with it and would buy it again.
  • Pros: The pros are many but I will only list some of them. The case is very well ventilated. The case has numerous holes in it. Air circulates very well without additional fans so it is very quiet. However it has places to mount 7 fans if you choose to do so. It is wide enough to mount a large CPU cool...
  • Cons: This is not much of a con but it is all I could find. The toolless design needs a little fine tuning. It allowed the DVD drive to be loose so I had to screw it down.

Great case for the price..

Rod P., Newegg

  • Summary: Overall, I'd recommend this case, as it looks good, performs quite well, and is very sturdy. Moving my system, in September, to this case, dropped my temps 17c. My system: Multi-Boot Win 7 64 bit (4 partitions), & XP 32 bit (5 partitions), Win 8 Dev Pre (1 Partition), Gigabyte EP43-UD3L MoBo, Intel...
  • Pros: Hard Drive dock is very handy, excellent cooling potential. Fits the biggest video cards without issues. Plenty of room for hard drives, most motherboards fit as well. Nice Satin Black finish inside and out. Fan filters are easy to clean, and don't seem to impede flow.
  • Cons: Only comes with 1 fan, would've been nice to include the '200mm' top fan that's neither 200mm, nor easy to find...HDD dock prevents drive install in top slot, must use for fan controller/control panel...Tool-less drive lock brackets allow vibration, so it's better to use the supplied black screws...
