Perfect

Kornel K., Newegg
21 March 2015
  • Pros: This case is just perfect. Beautiful design, pleasant to the eye and the metal is soft to the touch, just beautiful. Plenty of space inside, removable, "modular" hdd cages. GIves a stong impression of power and form once your rig is mounted inside. Nothing was broken upon reception.
  • Cons: None! Perfect.

This Case is HUGE!!!

Joshua B., Newegg
19 March 2015
  • Summary: When first receiving this case, I didn't expect it to be so huge. I was amazed by what I could build within the case and everything that I could do with a set up like this. The case is able to handle a lot of build types and definitely works with liquid cooling.
  • Pros: Huge Case Plenty of Space Plenty of Fans Room to work through with Cables Great Air flow
  • Cons: None, not at this moment

  • Summary: only reason 4/5 is b/c the intake dust filter, otherwise this tower is beautiful
  • Pros: so many possible setups when it comes to cooling and hardware
  • Cons: the removable front panel closest to the intake fans had no dust filter, easily fixable by making ur own but a lil annoying as to thats the one u really want

Fan Speed Controller Board DOA

Olivia W., Newegg
15 March 2015
  • Summary: Would eventually like to switch to water cooling, this case has great options for the creative.
  • Pros: Very spacious Removable filters were a must Cable management is on point Large window helps with building for aesthetics Strong cooling fans
  • Cons: Had to take one egg away because I received the case on my birthday with the Fan Speed/ Light Controller board dead on arrival. Nothing I could do would get the fans working from the controller board, so I had to manually power them from the power supply.

Great Case Not Perfect

David K., Newegg
13 March 2015
  • Summary: Would recommend to a friend.
  • Pros: Lots of space Fantastic cable management Very nice window Removable dust filters
  • Cons: The front panel has to come off in order to take the top panel off. A couple of time when taking the front panel off one of the plastic post that snaps into the case to hold it in place breaks, its definitely the cheapest part of the case and is the only reason I don't give it 5 eggs.

Thermaltake Core V71

Joseph A., Newegg
10 March 2015
  • Summary: Going to try and get a smaller rear fan or switch to Liquid Cooling so I can have all my fans working. Could have been made with less than a quarter inch more clearance in the back for some of these huge heat sinks out there.
  • Pros: Lots of room and potential for expansion. Good cooling setup. Water cooling support and decent cable management is always a plus. Built in fan/led controller. Very customizable.
  • Cons: Rear fan doesn't work in my setup, not a hardware issue it's just too big a fan. I have a Cooler Master V8 GTS heat sink and the thing is so massive that it pushes up against the rear exhaust fan and stops it from moving, so beware for anyone with the same heat sink looking to purchase this case.

Very Nice Case Overall

Adam A., Newegg
23 February 2015
  • Summary: This case made for a fun build. Nothing really frustrating, easily configurable to your taste. Easy to make a clean install without a huge mess of cables or anything else. Quality product, not junk. This is a case that will last you years and years of service, and look very nice doing it.
  • Pros: Huge case. Fits everything no issues. Also looks really, really nice. The pictures don't do it justice at all. It's not as costly as some cases I've owned over the years, and maybe not as thick and heavy as others. However, that doesn't mean it's quality is any less. It's really an enjoyable case...
  • Cons: There is not really room for another 200 mm fan in the top. The upper drive cage houses the power/reset/fan controller buttons, and partially blocks one of the 200mm fan spaces. It would fit, but you can't get the screws into it. Having the 200mm fans in the top is pretty pointless once you insta...

Thermaltake Core V71

Aaron A., Newegg
22 February 2015
  • Summary: Side doors remove super easy. The thumb screws that hold the storage docks, not so much. Probably need a screw driver to loosen them the first time. No side panel bulge after cable management. Just an outstanding case in my humble opinion.
  • Pros: Absolutely love this case. It is a bit large, but that is what I liked about it. The blue LED fans looks terrific and the huge side window is phenomenal. PLENTY of room for my 280mm radiator and had room to remount the pre-installed 200mm top exhaust fan. There is just so much room inside this case!
  • Cons: Not a con, but a forewarning. If you plan on using the Corsair H110 280mm radiator you will have to make a few of your own mounting places. Not hard to do, but just aggravating. I had already read that that particular cooling system would probably need custom mounting.
