Excerpt: This is a very well designed case that offers very good hardware options. Dive compatibility is excellent with removable drive cages that allow up to eight 2.5/3.5 inch hard drives and SSD's to be used. Two exposed 5.25 inch bays for DVD's top of drive options.
Excerpt: As the core components (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc) continue to get more extreme their demand on the supporting components (PSU, cooler, case, etc) grows significantly. We need more power with better efficiency, more cooling capacity with less noise, and more space with better aesthetics.
Conclusion: Thermaltake have once again gone all out with their latest chassis; component support is incredibly high in the Core V71 and for those looking to invest in a high-end gaming rig, the cavernous interior is going make easy work of any high-end graphics cards, motherboards and more.
Pros: Extensive cooling support, Four high-quality fans pre-installed, Fully modular and removable hard drive bays, Rear hard drive mounts that support both 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, Four large washable dust filters, Highly competitive price tag, Durable build quality, Large side panel window
Summary: The Thermaltake Core V71 seems to have all the features a builder could ask for in a full tower, not to mention that it’s very easy on the eyes. Last check at Newegg shows the chassis selling for $149.99 which is an excellent price for a full tower with this many features.
Summary: With all the customizable options in this larger-than-normal full-tower chassis, Thermaltake has really stepped out of the usual shoes and was sporting new kicks when this design hit the table.
Conclusion: Many PC Case manufacturers started off in the late 90's but the fact that Thermaltake is not only still alive and kicking after all this time but it has also one of the largest shares in the market can't be a fluke and the funny thing is that you just need to take a look at our review of the Core...
