Thermaltake Bach VX Mid-Tower Case Review

3D Xtreme
9 April 2007
  • Summary: Thermaltake proves themselves once again with the unique styling and feature filled arrival of the Bach VX Case. Pushing the limits of stylish looks and delivering a Case worthy of the Thermaltake branding. The worry I'd have is using a GPU like the 8800GTX which might require removal of the HD cage, something we've seen happen in other Mid-Tower Cases. Happily my 8800GTS did not have a problem in the Bach VX.

Thermaltake BachVx Case Video Review

18 March 2007
  • Summary: When I first saw the Thermaltake BachVx Case I thought Home Theatre PC, because of its piano-black paint finish and brushed aluminum silver front. This case would look excellent next to audio/video gear. There are plenty of drive bays for a mid-tower case, tool-free design and excellent ventilation. I really like the fact they have a large 140mm intake fan at the front of the case.

ThermalTake Bach VX case

DarkVision Hardware
14 February 2007
  • Conclusion: For most people the Bach VX will be a superb case - it has great looks and it's very user friendly. The case has a great build quality and is very silent with its big 120mm (15dbA) and 140mm (16dbA) fans. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the power supply needs to be installed first and that some bigger PSUs won't fit. Other than this, the Bach VX case is perfect and I definitely recommend it.

Thermaltake Bach VX

7 February 2007
  • Summary: The Thermaltake Bach Vx is one of the rare cases which keeps surprising you all the way from unboxing to the finished system. You will most likely catch yourself just looking at the case for a few seconds after unpacking it. Then the joy continues when taking it apart and installing all your hardware. The only thing that may dim your enthusiasm a bit is the limited space for large graphic cards. You can either use a small card or sacrifice a hard drive bay.
  • Pros: Great build quality, Great and simple installation - mostly screw-less, Will fit exotic drive bay devices, Two large fans included 120 mm & 140 mm, Good internal layout, Silent operation, Locks to secure the system, Case open switch, Front fan has dust filter, Front looks gorgeous, Matching drive bay covers included
  • Cons: Large video cards may conflict with hard drive, No drive LED can be seen, A few sharp edges, Power supply needs to be installed first, Side air hole not very stylish

Thermaltake Bach VX
