Amazing, Like always

  • Pros: Solid, Good build quality, comes with a PSU that is at least 80+ bronze, quiet for a server chassis, fits normal size PSU
  • Cons: Still not silent, PSU is not nosey but not near silent, PSU is only bronze, I would have paid more for gold if not platinum, will be replacing eventually for more efficient and quieter PSU.

  • Pros: size, hard drive cage
  • Cons: no instructions and only 2 sata power leads I have 4 sata hdd and 1 sata dvdrom, I need to buy 3 molex to sata converters. on a deadline for this build and it doesn't help having to run out to get stuff you expected to be in there.

  • Summary: Power status LED on mine is not working. Seems like a quality thing. I'll learn to live without.
  • Pros: Solid, reasonably quiet, fits SuperMicro E-ATX server motherboard X9DR3-F. Hard drive brackets are simple. High power supply. Rubber/silicone case fan mount.
  • Cons: Removing cover panel could be easier. Needs better labeling/documentation of front panel connectors. Too few SATA power connectors.

  • Pros: This case is well built. You can add additional fans and hard bays. I am using this case with the Intel DX79SR, intel i7-3930k and 64GB ram kingston HyperX two sets of (2 x 8GB) N82E16820104316. This case also supports with USB 3.0 Power supply has plenty of power.
  • Cons: You might need a SATA power adapter if you add more than 2 SATA drives.

You get what you pay for

  • Summary: Basically, if you literally want a plain case without anything fancy this is the case for you.
  • Pros: A case and PSU for the price is very comparable. Plenty of power cables for nearly everything you might want to plug in.
  • Cons: Of course it's not the "coolest" case around but if you only care about the hardware itself (which I did) then it's a great case. It also had a problem with shorting out my motherboard so I had to put some material down in between to stop that.

  • Pros: Surprisingly solid case, EATX compatible, lockable, and four internal disk mounts.
  • Cons: Small issue with my X8DTH-6f where the SAS jacks are inaccessible without right angle cables.

Better Than Expected

  • Summary: Used this to build a Windows Home Server with upgrading/expansion in mind down the road. I should have paid attention to the number of hard drive bays before pulling the trigger, though. Caveat emptor!
  • Pros: Cavernous case, great for building servers. Would be capable of swallowing motherboards and expansion cards of any size that I can fathom. Good quality on the 500W PSU, and both the PSU fan and case exhaust fan below it are frankly inaudible when fired up. Ample internal cords and connectors from the PSU, and lots of room to tuck the extras away. Looks very much like a high-end HP/Compaq tower server, with the angled vents running up most of the front. Nice HDD cage t...
  • Cons: For the size of this case, the number of 3.5" hard drive bays is rather meager! (4). There is tons of room in this thing, and I think most people in the market for this type of box are intending to use it for servers and mass storage. There is room ahoy to rig something up, but only four official bays is dumb and a letdown. Mine had no manual, so I don't know what some headers are, like "OH LED" and "POWER FAIL". Where do these go? Must be something on more serious se...

Looks great!

  • Summary: I tossed my sc743 chassis in exchange for this one for 3 reasons.
  • Pros: *Solid construction.
  • Cons: never was able to test drive the chassis. I hit the power button and nothing happened. I looked inside the case to make sure everything was hooked up correctly, and realized that the onboard LED on the mobo was off. The board must have suffered ESD during transfer... To bad the warrenty has expired.

Super Servergehäuse, speziell für Supermicro Motherboards

  • Summary: Ich habe das Gehäuse zum Supermicro X9SAE Motherboard bestellt. Empfehlung!!
