Forget it if you want an SSD

Anonymous, Newegg
29 March 2016
  • Summary: My mom likes the case. She picked it out. But I wish I had not given her a choice when I made her machine. There are much easier cases to work with for a lot less money. The entire case seems to be designed with one goal in mind: get a big fan in there!
  • Pros: It is solid. Lots of this box can be taken apart to increase ease of instillation of components. It has standoffs already on the tray, which helps a tad.
  • Cons: The board installs upside down. At the beginning it is like that is just a little bit of creative engineering, but as assembly gets going, it is obvious all the ergonomics and thought that has gone into the design of the Motherboard becomes apparent they are working directly against you. But the ...

poor design and craftsmanship

  • Summary: The original shipping box had no damage. The case box inside had one corner bumped but that should not cause these issues: 1) the HD cage was disintegrated upon arrival, the spot welds have failed 2) unable to attach cables to the installed SSD drive though an opening on the 3.5" cage.

Missing parts

Binkyland P., Newegg
13 June 2013
  • Summary: I would be giving this case 4-5 eggs based on all it's merits, but it's missing some crucial parts that are keeping me from building this computer.
  • Pros: Fantastic case in all respects; the paint job inside and out is stunning.
  • Cons: PSU mounting is easier in the sense that it comes out of the case without having to pass by the motherboard, but requires 6 additional screws to be removed first so you can remove the lid. This is an odd system. Mine came with no screws, no USB 3.0-to-2.0 adapter, and neither of the two other nor...

This case is sweet...

  • Summary: I bought my first silverstone three years ago and had nothing but heat problems. They have obviously listened to the complaints as this micro atx case handles it all and he airflow is superior. Add a second fan at the back to increase airflow even further.
  • Pros: Excellent fit and finish. An abundance of cable management options. Very cool running. Can take a full size card easily. Great looker.
  • Cons: None

User Review

trats, ALTERNATE
24 May 2013
