Great but not Perfect

N/A, Newegg
  • Summary: As a side note, I can't honestly recommend this case. For the price you can get something better with less hassles than this. The reason though I gave it 4 stars is because in the end everything works and its just awesome for ME, but not necessarily you.
  • Pros: Looks great and the case itself is very flexible in terms of what you can do and what you can put inside it. The motherboard rotation is awesome and really brings out the hardware and makes it look great. The space on the side opposite of the motherboard is huge and awesome, I was able to tame a ...
  • Cons: Unfortunately there are some minor hickups here. First off one of the bolts on the side window isn't pushed in all the way so the window has flex there. Plus the style of the pins bolted on the side window as it is looks pretty cheap and unappealing. The place on the bottom where you plug in the ...

Worthy Product with a few Missteps

William S., Newegg
27 December 2013
  • Summary: This case has some great things going for it. It's mostly quiet and looks nice, with excellent airflow. I do not regret building in it. The case manual in particular is very good, and even first time builders will have a joy of a time filling this case with hardware.
  • Pros: * Excellent Airflow * Quiet Operation * Fan mount behind CPU * Good cable routing if using long cables * Best manual EVER
  • Cons: * Overall poor build quality * Design features lacking or poorly executed (see below) * Not so good watercooling support * Wasteful front USB ports

Good case

Chris B., Newegg
29 November 2013
  • Pros: its a good case, lots of space, good design, good airflow and easy access usb 3.0,
  • Cons: After about 4 months of owning this case the 2 fans or the fan switches started to malfunction, they will only stay on a low setting, switching it to high only turns the rpm up a VERY tiny bit and very slowly and an uneven acceleration (they used to jump up in rpm's in a second) Cannot fit H80i (...

Double Edged Sword

David H., Newegg
29 April 2012
  • Summary: I am running two 6850's and they are running super cool at 30 degrees celcius WITH OVERCLOCKING!
  • Pros: -Best air cooling out there -Not as flimsy as people seem to comment, it is in fact made of metal, the front panel and top pannels are the only things with plasticc, and it is sturdy plastic with that. Sturdy construction. -Big -Looks much better in person -Great cable routing, no issue putting o...
  • Cons: - If you are planning on installing a liquid cooling block for your cpu, your in for a challenge, not impossible though - Hardrive mounts are rediculously stupid. One egg off for how they are made. The screw literally goes through the rubber grommet

Almost there

Patrick S., Newegg
2 December 2011
  • Summary: You will need some extra time with your build if you use this case. A few tips to help out... 1a. Choose a power supply with the third prong opposite the intake fan. 1b. If that's not an option, you will have to undo the twist tie holding the cord down.
  • Pros: Air cooling with FILTERS. Dust bunnies killed my last PC, which is why I picked this case. The cable management is a plus.
  • Cons: The provided power plug extender is really short. It could use a few more IO ports for the front and an external 3.5 bay. No LED fans. They should have made at least on of the intake fan light up the case from the bottom. I had a spare 120mm one I put in the back, bu sound card is blocking most o...

Amazing pain

Joshua P., Newegg
1 December 2011
  • Pros: - Spacious - great cable management. - 2 included 180 fans are very quiet on low - magnetic dust covers on bottom make for easy removal/cleaning - looks great - GREAT manual included with many pictures... not one of those fold outs that can be confusing to follow... this is like a 50 page booklet...
  • Cons: The only con I can come up with is the initial setup is a bit of a pain in the tail... This really only applies if you're decking this sucker out with the extra 7 120mm fans it supports... particularly the 4 fans that can go in the 5 1/4" drive cages... I docked one star because I have put togeth...

Pleasantly Surprised

Brian B., Newegg
27 November 2011
  • Pros: I was looking for a case that could squeeze in 9 3.5" hard drives, a blu-ray drive, a full size graphics card, and a raid controller without overheating. This thing is a beast, it easy fit everything and has slots for another 3.5" and a 2.5" drive. What folks are saying about the cable management...
  • Cons: Looks ridiculous. Good grief. My power supply fit perfectly, but the power cable which reroutes the plug to beneath the case is very short and I had to stretch it more than I would like to connect it. No real options here since the plug had to be oriented on the far side of the cable. You could u...

Sweet Case

Duncan M., Newegg
7 September 2011
  • Summary: Looks neat.
  • Pros: Comes with 3 fans built in, which is awesome. It's a perfect size. Not to big nor too small even if you are wishing to build a monster super computer like myself. All of my components fit very well and have plenty of room to breathe. Easy cable management.
  • Cons: There are a few cheap plastic aspects here and there but it's no biggie.

Good Case. Feels a little cheap

Matthew K., Newegg
11 August 2011
  • Summary: I like the case overall apart from the complaints above. I wound up cutting a hole in the lid so I can access my headphone jack without taking it off and risking breaking the lid legs. This could be better, but I can live with it.
  • Pros: - 90 degree rotated orientation of motherboard helps with air flow. - Large 180mm fans can really move air, or be whisper quiet when turned down. - Dust filters help a lot!
  • Cons: Plastic feels a bit cheap and flimsy as if it may break. Indeed, the case arrived with two broken drive bay covers (which Silverstone did promptly replace) but I am concerned that they may break again with regular use. Case also arrived without the manual or the box with the supplied hardware. (S...

Sweet Case

Ryan B., Newegg
2 July 2011
  • Summary: Later looked on Tiger Direct, yea should have purchased it from them case was cheaper and shipping was cheaper at Tiger, but oh well live and learn, I just assumed Newegg was cheaper. Not gonna do that anymore!
  • Pros: Looks great!! great cooling features, love the inverted motherboard.
  • Cons: Cheaply made in some areas, they had great engineering but ruined by cheap plastic parts. It wasnt a cheap case but not the most expensive either, but some stuff just feels really cheap. But over all its a sweet case. Just a few quality and material issues. Kinda loud as well.
