Summary: This should fit most (but probably not all) long video cards. I used an Asus Maximus Impact VII for the build which ended up being perfect. Install the optical drive after you're done with everything..
Pros: Very well designed entertainment case that has an entertainment system look and feel. Compact with plenty of room for components.
Cons: Paint is a bit cheap, I'm used to Corsair's powder coating but this stuff flakes easy so take extra care with it. Hard drive mounts were less than to be desired, I was missing the screws for the 2.5" drive, but I was able to make it work.
Summary: Used this case for a recent media center build, and it works great for that. I docked a star because I think the top cover should be held on with thumb screws, and there are some sharp edges inside that really should be rounded.
Summary: This is a very nice and solid case. My only irk is when you add the internal storage, it was a pain in the rear. You have to mount an SSD first then the 3.5' hard drive over it onto this support beam over the power supply on the right hand side.
Summary: My HTPC build: - Asus Z97M-PLUS (with M.2 support) - Intel i7 4790S (65W with 4600 graphics) - 250Gb Crucial MX200 M.2 SSD (takes up no room) - LG WH16NS40 bluray player (great color match) - NT01-Pro fanless cooler (made for this case) - 2 seagate 3.5" HDDs (in the HDD mount) - Kingston HyperX FURY...
Pros: - Fits 2 3.5" HDD and an optical drive, and then some - Form factor, although a little large, blends nicely with AV components - Front USB 3.0 ports
Cons: - No thumb screws for the case lid. Poor quality screws instead. - No internal speaker for bios beeps - Not ideal for a fanless PSU - Case fans must be removed to clean dust screens - The silverstone logo on the front could be nicer
Summary: Great case. Good design for ventilation and cooling. My one gripe is the optical bay sits right on top of the proc. So if you put a massive cooler in your computer then forget about shoving a BD drive in there.
Pros: I've had this case for my HTPC over a year and I finally came across a CPU cooler that works perfectly. Zalman CNPS7000C It lowered my CPU temps by 8 degrees Celsius over the stock AMD A6 cooler. It clears the RAM and yet is low enough that it doesn't block the DVD tray. Also, at least for me, th...
Cons: None for me as I knew what I was wanting to build.
Great build quality, a couple of irritating oversights...

Summary: Giving this four stars because of the stupid location for mounting ssd's and the silliness that is the sub 1/8" it would take to make fitting graphics cards easier. The case is well built, cools well and is pretty quiet even with fans at full speed.
Summary: The other case that I think is shallow enough to fit in a Hemnes shelf is the Rosewill Legacy U3-S, which does not have an optical bay. Newegg, please please please let us sort by case dimensions!
Pros: I searched the whole internet for cases that would fit in my entertainment center (it's a Hemnes shelf from IKEA) with only 350 mm of depth. There are many Mini-ITX cases that would fit, but there are exactly two on the whole internet that support Micro-ATX. This is the only one that also has an ...
Cons: I recommend you put this case in the center compartment in the three-shelf Hemnes. It doesn't fit behind the lip in the left and right compartments. I have mine in the left compartment, and the two case fans on the right are nearly right up to the shelf divider. I'm not very happy with the fan ar...
Summary: I bought this case a year ago for my HTPC build because it was one of the more attractive cases that cold actually fit into my AV cabinet. After getting everything installed, I'm actually very happy with it. I get quite a few comments on nice it looks in my setup.
Pros: -Media stand friendly size (roughly 13" deep) -Looks great -Decent amount of room inside -Great airflow makes for a cool running system -Fan filters are a nice touch -Power light on the front is not too bright
Cons: One of the first things I did was swap out the fans for a set of 800 rpm Scythe fans. I'll admit my tolerance for noise is a lot lower than most people but I could hear the fan noise from 11 ft away while watching TV or listening to music at conversational volume, not ideal for a Home Theater.
