PAIN IN THE B*TT

Timothy T., Newegg
8 July 2010
  • Summary: The case is rather large and a pain to install, it can't fit large DVD drives or Blue Disk drives and the wireless dosn't work with the top panel on, so if you use wireless you will need a antennae extension cable to route it out the back with the other cables.
  • Pros: -Good looks -Quiet -Red on the inside -Good Temps -Dust filters on intake -Fits Rampage II Extreme with V10 cooler on it
  • Cons: -Install time (60min) -HD bays are flimsy -Only 1 Hot swap included, others need to be purchased unless you only want to use one HD -Dosn't fit long DVD/Blue-Ray drives -Arrived with a bent back panel and a broken fan cable, I fixed both myself -Arrived with many loose screws -Cables hookups on t...

  • Summary: I can't believe how fast Newegg is--shipping is quick. Receive almost everything I order THE NEXT DAY. Quad core AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 965 3.4 GHz Crosshair IV Formula AMD 890FX MB Corsair XMS 8GB DDR3 1600 memory DUAL Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X in Crossfire Mode Silverstone Fortress FT02 Case

  • Cons: Must have a drive that is no more than 180mm in length. My LG BD/DVD drive would not fit in any of the 5.25 openings. I bought a Pioneer BDR-205BKS burner and it fits nicely. The hard drive cages are plastic and flimsy, could learn a lesson from the Antec folks on noise/vibration reduction in thi...
