Great case for the money

Ellen E., Newegg
26 February 2013
  • Summary: Excellent airflow and cooling, dual 180mm fans push a lot of air and are near silent save for the air they push. Vibration absorbing hard drive trays, silent fans, and sound insulating foam ensure the case stays quiet.
  • Pros: Cool, quiet, clean, sturdy and spacious. Plenty of room for a tall cooler or long video card.
  • Cons: A bit tight when routing thick cables behind the mobo tray (still fits okay). No CPU cooler backplate cutout (minor issue IMO, who's swapping out coolers all the time?)

  • Pros: Excellent case!! The case is very well built with very nice construction. The fans are very quiet, I can hardly hear them running and they are all protected with easy to clean filters. You can't go wrong with this case.

Overall Very Nice Case

Max C., Newegg
7 March 2011
  • Summary: Overall this case is very nice and very well made. If you dont have a lot of hard drives or wiring it will be awesome for you. If you do, youre going to have to get crafty to get that side panel back on when you route everything back there. People have complained that the side panels feel cheap?
  • Pros: The case feels very solid and looks very nice. The fans are extremely quiet and yet it keeps everything very cool. Wire routing is good and with proper attention keeps everything very clean. I have 6 Hard drives in here and an SLI 480 GTX setup so I definitelly have plenty of wiring. 5.25" bays a...
  • Cons: Not enough space on the backside for wires that have been routed. Trying to fit the side panel back on is almost impossible even with proper wiring back there. The foam for noise suppression does not help this. It took a lot of effort to get that side panel back on. No removable motherboard tray ...

Happy

Anonymous, Newegg
31 July 2010
  • Summary: Very happy with my upgrade.
  • Pros: Large fans move a lot of air without making hardly any noise. All of the fans in this case combined make less noise then my old 478 cpu fan. Very high quality. This is the first case I have purchased in several years. It has a nice side window so you can see where your paycheck went but unlike ot...

SLIVERSTONE FT01

Richard L., Newegg
14 April 2010
  • Summary: Power supplies and cases are the parts I pay most attention to, everything else gets swapped out at one point or another. Pushed my last rig for 8 years so I'm spending some coin on this. Depends on your build philosophy.
  • Pros: Excellent build quality, roomy, good fan placement and airflow, easy to hide wiring, FAST rebate from Silverstone. Truly 5 STAR product
  • Cons: Pricey, routed wires can be tight when hidden behind MB, for cleanest wiring be sure to use all SATA devices.

Best Mid Tower Case I've Used

Michael T., Newegg
21 March 2010
  • Summary: I build custom computers for my company and I recently started using this case. It's a bit expensive but customers love it and I find it to be really easy to work with. The cable management is good enough which gives the finished product a nice clean look.
  • Pros: Where do I begin: Solid construction, air intake filters, painted interior, plastic mounting trays with rubber isolators for the HDD's, optional HDD "hot swap" bay, fits Radeon 5870 GPU, removable HDD tray section to fit Radeon 5970, decent cable management, and the best plexiglass window I've seen.
  • Cons: The cable management holes for the SATA cables are a little narrow, but the rubber is a nice touch to protect cables against damage. Additionally the motherboard tray area could use another half inch. The ASUS P6T fits a little tight, especially with several SATA cables.

  • Summary: Got this on a rebate 2/1 and received the rebate today, 2/22 . Best turn around on rebate I have ever had on a product from Newegg.
  • Pros: With out question this is the best case I have ever bought from Newegg and I have bought alot of them. Construction is flawless and well worth price. Very quiet and it is the quietest case I have had. Cooling is outstanding with Gigabyte MB, 8 gigs of Kingston ddr3 1333 and a i7 860 oc to 3.4 on ...

Beautiful Case + Fast Rebate

Pedrum P., Newegg
11 January 2010
  • Summary: Bought it in November when there was a 35% promo code, free shipping, and rebate. While the case exudes quality and style, I don't know if it would warrant the full retail price. If money is not an issue, and you like black anodized aluminum (what tech doesn't, excellent strength to weight ratio),...
  • Pros: This is a beautiful case that features a kind of understated elegance that is hard to find these days. Machined aluminum throughout, very easy to work in. Black interior makes it all that much nicer. Excellent cable management as well. Best part though, was my rebate came in 3 weeks and didn't re...
  • Cons: As others have mentioned you can't easily remove the upper fan filter. Also, the bottom PSU filter may not line up with your PSU's intake fan. The sides panels feel a little thin.

Great case!

Stephen S., Newegg
22 December 2009
  • Summary: I find, with my setup, I get the best temps with the top 18mm fan off. I removed the top hard drive rack because the bottom 3 is enough for me and also to improve air flow from the front fan. I have an 8800gt 512mb with an fan-less accelero s1 rev2 passive gpu cooler. My idle gpu temps are 42C.
  • Pros: -looks great -180mm fans are very quiet -good quality -cools well
  • Cons: -top filter is annoying to remove for cleaning.
