Perfect for SSD

Ethan H., Newegg
3 June 2014
  • Pros: Unlike all to many other drive mounts, the Silverstone cover has excellent build quality and the screw holes are placed perfectly.
  • Cons: The drive spacing is tight. For SSDs, this is not a problem. If you are using 2.5" hard drives, cooling performance may well be less good than one wants.

Great for Lian Li PC-TU 200B.

Michael C., Newegg

  • Summary: A great option if you have a Lian Li PC-TU 200B. Just take that redicilious hard drive cage out and you can put in a water cooling rad. I know there's a tiny gap but it couldn't be a more perfect fit.
  • Pros: Great build quality.
  • Cons: Price isn't really a con, solidly built with nice gloss paint on the inside

My favorite 5.25" bay converter - ever.

David M., Newegg
27 January 2014
  • Summary: A little pricey for what it is (considering you can buy entire computer cases almost for the same cost), but it's simply an awesome product and the build quality is well worth it.
  • Pros: What more is there to say? You can fit 4x 2.5" drives into a 5.25" bay... AND still have room for a slim slot-load optical drive. Awesome and extremely useful for any mini ITX build that has a 5.25".
  • Cons: None.

User Review

martin b., Newegg
24 February 2013
  • Summary: So why aren't more Silverstone products coated black on the interior as well as the exterior??
  • Pros: Stores a slot type optical drive plus up to 4 SSDs. Brushed black aluminum finish exterior, smooth glossy black interior. Very efficient use of storage space. No moving parts. Kinda hard to mess this one up.
  • Cons: Price? But the build quality is quite good.

Awesome for Small Builds

Anonymous, Newegg
17 January 2013
  • Pros: You can install a combination of SSDs and 2.5" HDDs along with a slot loading CD/DVD Drive. This makes a lot of room for possible modding and optional water cooling features. Very well designed!
  • Cons: Huh! What more can I ask for?

Nicely done!

Jeffrey E., Newegg
24 November 2012
  • Summary: You're going to have to figure some things out on your own, but it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to put a drive or two in there and mount it in your case. This con is not worth an egg since the actual product is so well made!!!!
  • Pros: Exactly what I was looking for to use a slot-loading dvd writer with my desktop. Plus I mounted my SSD to it and freed up another bay. Very well made and everything lined up perfectly! Comes with a ton of hardware...some of which I'm not sure why I need it which brings me to...
  • Cons: Instructions are barely rudimentary.

Pretty good

Wesley J., Newegg
20 November 2012
  • Pros: Does what it is designed for. I can fit 4 SSDs in this thing.
  • Cons: Deducting one star because I can't connect 90 degree angled SATA cable connectors because the drives are two deep into the tray.
