No problems

Geoff S., Newegg
19 December 2013
  • Summary: I bought this to add more expansion capability to an HP desktop with an ASUS motherboard. It ran as my primary system for a few years and now it sits mostly powered down, but it still runs perfectly very now and then when I need it.
  • Pros: Relatively large. Inexpensive. Sturdy.
  • Cons: Not too many fans (not really a con, but...)

Good Basic Case

Stephan S., Newegg
3 October 2012
  • Summary: It's a basic, cheap case and it is very good at being just that. My ATX board fit it well and I didn't have any problems. Sure there's other features that would be nice, but for the price it's fine. I will definitely look at this case again when I need a cheap case for a rebuild.
  • Pros: Simple and cheap.
  • Cons: None really.

Decent, cheap entry-level case

Luke S., Newegg
26 September 2012
  • Summary: As other reviewers have noted, be careful about cutting yourself on the inside edges! The power button is illuminated with a (bright) blue LED, and the HDD LED is yellow.
  • Pros: -Sleek and inconspicuous appearance. -Raised bumps for motherboard screws means you don't need standoffs. -Cheap. -Comes with a fan.
  • Cons: -Yes, it's "flimsy." I'm not sure why this is such a problem for a computer case. -The air duct isn't quite centered over my CPU, but I don't care.

Nice but...

Blake B., Newegg
26 September 2012
  • Summary: This could just be my case but be careful. I would buy it again and assemble more carefully.
  • Pros: Very good for basic case. nothing amazing. looks well build for price.
  • Cons: I actually sliced my hand open on the hole for a power supply as I reached in to mount it. the holes are not deburred and are very sharp.

Decent

Michael R., Newegg
23 September 2012
  • Summary: I would not recommend this case for system builders, and I would definitely not purchase this case again. This was just for my kids, and I only had to fight with the case during install.
  • Pros: Cheap. Free shipping. Looks decent, lots of room, front panel USB and audio, side vent, 1 case fan included. I didn't have a problem with the stand-offs. The 3 stand-offs seem to be included for micro ATX installs. For ATX you will most likely be using the stand-offs pre-stamped into the tray.
  • Cons: Cheap construction. Stamped, thin metal with rivets. I got several cuts and scrapes no matter how cautious I was. Case is easily warped, all 4 feet on the bottom of the case will not sit level. HDD and Power LEDs on front of case are so dim, they're nearly impossible to see. I think I might've gi...

Russ K., Newegg
23 September 2012

  • Pros: Cheap and made of metal.
  • Cons: careful of the sharp edges! I sliced my finger open on the back putting a PCI card in.

Great case, cheap screws.

Shawn W., Newegg
16 September 2012
  • Summary: The fan on the back of the case is so big that I had to leave it out of the case for my motherboard to fit in.
  • Pros: Works like a case should, not much to say other then the cons.
  • Cons: The case is good but the screws are cheap. Most of the screws end up losing the center of the screw. I am going to remove an egg because I am really tired of buying cases and them coming with cheap screws and I had to buy more that were stronger.

Good Quality for Budget Build

Iat-Seng L., Newegg
12 September 2012
  • Summary: Bland appearance, depending on your taste.
  • Pros: Has a single flap in the rear that can secure the PCI slots without standoffs Comes with one PCI slot filler Not flimsy material like the super cheap cases No problems
  • Cons: 1 x 120mm Rear Fan is loud.

Decent

Thomas L., Newegg
6 September 2012
  • Summary: Nothing is wrong with the case for what you pay for it. I will use it for another build definitely, but don't plan on sticking anything to wide in it.
  • Pros: Inexpensive, was basically free and saved me another $40 on items i was already buying with an i5 combo.
  • Cons: Its not wide enough. Not much for air flow for my gaming. Put a hyper 212 evo over the i5 i got and couldnt close the case even with the side vent section off. Was going to put an 80mm fan there but it wouldnt even close without it.
