Summary: I bought this & installed an Intel DQ77MK motherboard and a Corsair CX430 power supply. I like the case design, although it has some flaws. I'll mention the flaws below, but overall I enjoy the case design & like how I was able to keep it a clean layout. The way the metal is tapped for the thumbscrews on the expansion slots is poor, and the thumbscrews are very hard to turn without a screwdriver.
Summary: I also found the front panel awkward to manage during installation since the wires are captive and short. There is a switch at the rear of the case through which the front power LED and a fan LED must be connected so you can turn off the lights. One pair of wires on that switch needed to be resoldered on mine. All the necessary wiring & connectors are there, but the documentation on this particular wiring configuration is poor at best.
Pros: I bought this & installed an Intel DQ77MK motherboard and a Corsair CX430 power supply. I like the case design, although it has some flaws. I'll mention the flaws below, but overall I enjoy the case design & like how I was able to keep it a clean layout.
Cons: The way the metal is tapped for the thumbscrews on the expansion slots is poor, and the thumbscrews are very hard to turn without a screwdriver. The fans it comes with have very stiff & cheap wiring, but the fans are fairly quiet. Since they were on sale at NewEgg, I did buy COUGAR CF-V12HP PWM fans to replace these so the motherboard could control them. The stock fans are three wire & meant to be controlled by the knobs at the front top of the case. Just depends on y...
Summary: This case has a lot to like. It's small, has a qualitative handle with rubber padding, has lots of cooling options, and is very handsome. So, why 4 stars? Well, it's not perfect. Firstly, the screw holes on the door can only accommodate NZXTs 200mm (to my knowledge). Their fan is nice, but it's also fat, so if you're using a high profile GPU with a heat sink that's a little higher, it won't fit.
Summary: I just got this today and finished putting in all my components. I must say I really like design and overall look of the case, almost all of the screws you're gonna use are thumbscrews which is very nice Provides better airflow than my old case which was a thermaltake v9 (I went from 29-30c to 24-25c) Nice fan control gives you room for more airflow although the front fan really gets noticeably loud when you turn it all the way My asus 7870 fits in nice and perfect.
Summary: This is an excellent case. It's compact enough to carry to LAN parties and otherwise transport, but spacious enough to fit plenty of hardware and not get too cluttered by wires. The layout of the inside also makes it extremely easy to install 5.25" or 3.5" devices. By and large, the best thing this case has going for it (aside from the sleek design) is the fact that you can place chassis fans anywhere to control the air flow however you please.
Summary: I was probably more frustrated because I had timed the parts to arrive before the weekend (which they did) only to find out my side fan was useless.
Pros: After is was done I loved it. Good airflow and a decent design without being too much. Case looks good also.
Cons: I ended up paying over $40+ for my side fan grrrrr. Even with reading many reviews it didn't clue me in to the fact that "only" nzxt's fan will work so I purchase the best 200mm fan I could only to find out there was no way to use it. The holes didn't match up or even come close.
Summary: befor buying this i read all the reveiws and put off getting it for a little while .. the truth is it is very nice and im sure will work great in the long run .. nice quility for the price !! the only neg thing i have to say is that u will want to use your own screws for the handle .its a tight fit ..and to use the fan cont your gona need a very new board .. very happy for this price and well over .. fans are super quite!
Summary: I like this case. It fits my micro atx system great. I can put a full sized cpu cooler in it, My video card fits with plenty of room around it. It keeps everything nice and cool. The orange leds are cool, and original. The case is a little larger then I would have liked, but It is very portable with the handle installed. I docked one star because there is so much dust in my system. the while case is vented with filters only in the front and the psu.
Summary: I bought this for my budget build and found that the case provided great cooling options as well as good cable management room. The biggest downside to the case is the motherboard placement holes. The motherboard is essentially placed higher compared to other mATX cases, meaning it is extremely difficult to add any fans on the top if you have an aftermarket CPU cooler installed.
Summary: I've been very apprehensive about replacing my old case... Mainly because I wanted one that looked cool without putting a dent in my wallet. This case fit that bill perfectly. Well when it arrived I was excited beyond all belief, and boy what a tight fit. the only problems i have with this case are as follows the side panel on the opposite side of the mesh window won't come off installing my dvd drive was a struggle...
