Summary: I also found the front panel awkward to manage during installation since the wires are captive and short. There is a switch at the rear of the case through which the front power LED and a fan LED must be connected so you can turn off the lights. One pair of wires on that switch needed to be resoldered on mine. All the necessary wiring & connectors are there, but the documentation on this particular wiring configuration is poor at best.
Pros: I bought this & installed an Intel DQ77MK motherboard and a Corsair CX430 power supply. I like the case design, although it has some flaws. I'll mention the flaws below, but overall I enjoy the case design & like how I was able to keep it a clean layout.
Cons: The way the metal is tapped for the thumbscrews on the expansion slots is poor, and the thumbscrews are very hard to turn without a screwdriver. The fans it comes with have very stiff & cheap wiring, but the fans are fairly quiet. Since they were on sale at NewEgg, I did buy COUGAR CF-V12HP PWM fans to replace these so the motherboard could control them. The stock fans are three wire & meant to be controlled by the knobs at the front top of the case. Just depends on y...
Summary: I was probably more frustrated because I had timed the parts to arrive before the weekend (which they did) only to find out my side fan was useless.
Pros: After is was done I loved it. Good airflow and a decent design without being too much. Case looks good also.
Cons: I ended up paying over $40+ for my side fan grrrrr. Even with reading many reviews it didn't clue me in to the fact that "only" nzxt's fan will work so I purchase the best 200mm fan I could only to find out there was no way to use it. The holes didn't match up or even come close.
Pros: I ordered this case directly from NZXT before newegg had it in stock. If you are looking for a matx gaming case with solid construction than can fit full size graphics cards in crossfire or sli, that is solid and highly portable, this is it. All black interior is nice, comes with a ton of thumb screws, very good ventilation.
Cons: Wire management can be a nightmare if you do not have a modular psu. The NZXT sentry 5.25 fan controller does not line up correctly with the 5.25 bay screw holes, I had to drill new ones in order to fit it. The doors of the case can be difficult to remove, there is nothing to grab ahold of and pull on. Do not count on hiding many wires between the mobo tray and panel.
