Too small, even for a compact case

Matthew L., Newegg
9 January 2013
  • Summary: Overall I don't hate it, but I do not recommend it to anyone.
  • Pros: -Looks cool. -Comes with lots of screws/hardware, more than you'll need.
  • Cons: -Too small, even for a micro ATX build, it was a squeeze getting everything in. Not nearly enough room for cable management of any kind. -A couple of the standoff holes on mine are stripped, and standoffs will not screw into them. -It may be my motherboard, but there isn't enough space for the I/...

Good Case BUT!

Derek M., Newegg
7 December 2012
  • Summary: I got the bitfenix 200 mm fan to fit the case using the two top screws by drilling the plastic housing of the fan. this case is definately a good buy. but they need to put in bold letter "ONLY WORKS WITH NZXT FAN (model link)" they should really offer this case with all of the orange fans included...
  • Pros: Good solid case. Feels sturdy. and its light weight I like the cable management Hid all of my cables Runs cool Is very attractive and custom looking. cheap
  • Cons: DID NOT COME WITH STAND OFFS! (outragous!) Bad customer service. DID NOT ADVERTISE WHAT BRAND OF 200MM FAN YOU MUST BUY!!! RETURNED MY EMAIL WITH A LINK AND NO FURTHER EXPLANATION!

Good design, great airflow, Skip the Handle

Chelsea M., Newegg
27 November 2012
  • Summary: I built a $1200 rig two years ago for my friend using mid to upper end components, and he wanted something portable with good ventilation for both at home and LAN party use. This case was the winner after a few days of browsing, and we got right to it with the build.
  • Pros: -High value -Great ventilation -Attractive design
  • Cons: -Flawed handle design may cost you big time -Shoddy wiring internals -No ATX support for a case this large

decent tower

Eric C., Newegg
9 September 2012
  • Summary: Its a good tower. luckily I got it on sale or else I would be pretty mad that it came broken. (Not that I like getting brand new broken things) A few things here and there that would make this tower perfect would be; More fan controllers or longer wires for the connections(you can have 5 fans on the...
  • Pros: The case its self is solidly built. Nice and easy to install everything, Thou it make take longer if you aren't use to using a MATX tower.
  • Cons: The front plastic piece came broken. When I popped off the front to get the mesh parts out so I could put my roms in, 2 of the stands broke off had to super glue them back on. Also the power button for the lights are on the back of the case(a problem if you put your computer in the tray of your d...

Not as I expected

Judas P., Newegg
4 July 2012
  • Summary: 5. Airflow, low to mediocre. Front fan is blocked by hard-drive bays? Fan could be placed higher to provide air flow and a small fan could be placed for ba Great price and the concept of the design is right on the money.
  • Pros: Price range is good, not the design of this product.
  • Cons: 1. If you're planning on utilizing a liquid cooler, just get another case for that purpose. It will not allow you to place a liquid cooler anywhere in this case. Top fans will need to be removed in order to properly fit a mATX. What is the point of having them there if they cannot be utilized? 2....

cute little case

Brian P., Newegg
15 April 2012
  • Summary: unless the extra 2 inches saved is important, go get a cooler master storm scout(I measured from table top to handle top on both). It has a carrying handle, is more intelligently laid out, and will accommodate after market coolers in any orientation in the vulcan: ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS, cooler...
  • Pros: small profile, stylish, carrying handle, super quiet fans, full size graphics accomodations, air flow
  • Cons: poor design choices: large coolers must be rotated to point the top of the case or they won't fit, the intake fan on the front rubs against the chassis and makes an obnoxious noise making washers or reversal of fan direction a requirement, cheap flimsy buttons, harddrive bays put the sata connect...

Excellent case for MB and HDs, bad for fan control

SEAN B., Newegg
14 January 2012
  • Summary: I'm not in a mood to have to take my entire machine apart for an RMA on this case, but unless I can get NZXT to send me only the replacement parts for the fan control console and circuitry to the connectors (for #1 AND #2), and a new power LED strip, I will have to replace the case.
  • Pros: Room enough for 3 or 4 hard drives, side fan and CPU cooler if the cooler measures no higher than 137mm. Recommend power supply no deeper than 6.5", to leave room enough for the wires. Handle makes it easy to carry around.
  • Cons: Fan control is a big bust. Took 3 months to build my machine, only to find out that my 2 top fans (plugged into the #2 connectors) would not run unless the rear fan's orange LED was connected, along with the power LED (via Y-cable) to the rear LED button. Top fan's orange LED stays on whether LED...

User Review

Anonymous, Newegg
13 July 2011
  • Summary: Did not expect the side mesh to be held on by folding some inside holes; the dips look awful. It wouldn't hurt to have added some plastic ties to secure wires bordering the case.
  • Pros: Handle and case size are great for mobility. Very distinct design.
  • Cons: 1. Fan controller blew a transistor on inserting a 3-pin fan. Luckily it did not damage anything else. 2. Should have known that a Corsair H60 would not fit perfectly in the case. I had to remove the HDD cage and use that area, but mounts nicely to the existing fan. 3. There is a long rivet near ...
