NZXT Switch 810 W/B

  • Pros: This case has good intentions for both AIR/WC options for all enthusiasts. Cool color Black and White finish looks clean. They came out with the H440 but still needs a lot of work compared to Caselabs or Silverstone. The dust filters are decent but also far from perfect.
  • Cons: Where to begin....The front intake fan cover does not allow for needed inflow/take into the case which is needed to create positive pressure for airflow in and outflow/take...No fan filter on the top where most dust gets in the case...falling from in the air and landing on the components inside the case...>< this cases succesor is also a joke sorry NZXT your engineers are failing in design and implementing compared to Corsair/Caselabs/Silverstone...the tubing holes ar...

  • Summary: Absolutely amazing case. Lots of plastic, however it makes it much easier for me to pick up. I'm smaller built woman and have a hard time lifting heavier metal cases.

Sturdy, Roomy, and not very Quiet.

Reed H., Newegg
6 December 2014
  • Summary: This case is actually quite a bit larger than I would have liked, and yet, that's probably what kept it from getting stolen when my house was broken into. Still, I dread every time I need to open it up to do anything. It's hard to pull out of my desk. My biggest complaint is how loud it is. For most other cases I've used, it takes them a few years to get as loud as this case was on its first day.
  • Pros: - Plenty of room to work in. - Comes with a lot of decent anti-shock technology - Sturdy construction - A window, if you like windows - a convenient light on the back that can be turned on and off easily - A nice front-mounted bay for USB, SD Cards, and audio jacks. - Lots of fans
  • Cons: - Very loud, thanks to all those fans. - A top vent can be closed to supposedly make it quieter. It doesn't. - There are weird areas where the outer plastic shell doesn't match up with the edges of the frame, and this makes it look a little cheap. - The hard drive bays are on the BACK of its frame, so you have to open up both sides of the case to install or remove hard drives. This often means pulling the whole computer out of its position if you had it tucked away. I...

Best Case for the $

  • Summary: CPU - AMD FX-8350 Black @ 4.0 Ghz GPU - EVGA GTX 770 04G-P4-3776-KR MOBO - Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 MEM - CORSAIR Vengeance 2 x 8 GB DDR3 1866 Timing: 10-11-10-30 Cas Latency: 10 Power Supply - Corsair HX850 850W CASE - NZXT SWITCH 810 White CPU Fan - ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED
  • Pros: I go to LANs a lot and needed a durable case. Its huge. I have so much space for everything. Cable management is awesome and I love the removable filters. AIR FLOWWW!!! ***Install aftermarket CPU fan before installing the mobo in the case***
  • Cons: -2 Stars because the power button feels cheap and the DVD bay cover spring somehow went bad on the first day. Oh and the LED in the rear panel doesn't work. Haven't tried to figure out why. The stock fans that come with the case are starting to go bad at 11 months of ownership.

Picked this for its looks, impressed with function

ADAM Y., Newegg
18 October 2014
  • Summary: The power light is huge and can be annoying in a dark room when the computer is sleeping.
  • Pros: Fans are really quiet. You need to be in a perfectly silent room to hear them. Good temps. I think the air intake is through the bottom of the case? Way more customization than I needed. Really great looking case, especially if you have innards you want to show off.
  • Cons: Be careful moving this beast. It is easy to detach something by accident. The front panel comes off, the top panel comes off, the bottom dust tray comes off.

  • Summary: NZXT's enclosure has a lot of bells and whistles and really is designed to be as customizable as possible. What isn't listed on the spec sheet is an included pin block that converts six 3-pin fan headers to a single 4-pin molex header, white LEDs around the I/O cluster and expansion backs on the back that can be toggled on and off, and a vent on the top that can be opened, closed, or removed entirely.
