Summary: So far I like it. Cosmetically, it's nice--not too flashy but also not particularly boring. Pros: - It's a full tower so it's probably expected, but I was really happy that the inside was so spacious so my not-so-small hands could put all the parts in easily. - The cable management of the case made it really easy to make sure the wires aren't tangled or dangerously close to a fan / heatsink.
Summary: I'm currently using this case with a Noctua NH-U14S CPU cooler. While the case itself is more than large enough to accommodate the cooler, the case cut out (reverse side of motherboard) is literally about an 1/8" too small to allow installation of the cooler support backplate. This necessitates removing the motherboard (at least partially) in order to slide the backplate though the corresponding bolt holes.
Pros: -Great size, easy to work in -Good quality craftsman ship -Reasonable price -Good cooling properties/airflow -Case fans are quiet
Cons: - Case cut out may not work for all CPU coolers
Pros: I'm doing my first build with this case, & honestly I dont think I could have picked a better tower. Enough fans to start with (I have added the optional top & side 200mm, & the front 140mm fans). Its got enough expansion slots, I even took the extra 2 slots out just for the extra room (& cause I could)
Cons: so far none, but ill keep yall posted as the build goes
Summary: Im love my phantom! All though I would rather prefer the top panel LED lights (for power, HDD, and fan control) to be white, as for if you are trying to have the inside red (or any other color) themed, then the blue LED's on the outside would not go with the lights inside the case. This also apply's for the 200mm top fan that comes with it. This case has great air flow, even with the fans a low speed.
Pros: -Plenty of space -Good cable management -Good airflow -Plenty of fan slots -Easily removable front and top panels Side notes: The case comes with fan filters on its fan slots which is nice so you don't have to go buy any. The case also looks very nice which depending on your preference can either be extremely important or not at all.
Cons: -Case is a fingerprint magnet -Front and top panels feel a bit cheap Side notes: If you are using a high end air cooler that takes up a lot of real estate in your case you will not be able to use the side 200mm fan.
Summary: -> This was my first venture into a brand that isn't Corsair, Thermaltake or Cooler Master for a case. I was extremely impressed by the case, inside and out, and would highly recommend NZXT in the future, considering.
Pros: -> Significantly more spacious than it looks to be - and it already looks to be rather roomy. Specifically when it comes to cable management, I was very, very impressed with how much room I had to maneuver in this case. -> Comes with 4 pre-installed fans, all of which are LED's to boot. Two come already plugged into the cases fan controller, which is also quite nice. -> If you're not into LED's, there's a simple button on the back to disable the lighting. -> Does look...
Cons: -> My case arrived with a small bend in one of the corners of one of the door. It's actually rather difficult to see because the case is white, but it's there. If not for this, I would have certainly given this case a 5 egg, without question.
Summary: Great case for the money. No doubt about it. This case just screams to be exploited in any moddable fashion. Very happy with my purchase.
Pros: This case is a modders wet dream. With built in support for an amazing air rig to being built up to the top of the line water cooling this case pretty much has it all. Adaptable drive cages that can be taken out for more room or a cleaner aesthetic look. Bought this case to house an Asus Sabertooth 990fx mobo with an FX-8350 and a CM 212 Evo. I've got everything in with room to spare. Counting in triple Sapphire HD 2gb 6950s and there's still room! I've been using a T...
Cons: I've knocked of 1 egg for 2 reasons. I saw this on another post but my case had also shipped with a bent thumbscrews on the back for the side door. No biggy as I like my custom knobs better, but, still, there is something going on in their builders line that this would happen more than once. Secondly. The case manual, or rather, huge page, is absolutely the worst instruction manual I have ever seen. Now, I've been building rigs for about 20 years and in that whole tim...
