Summary: wish the side where the motherboard would have more easy access hole for all my wiring.
Pros: A lot of interior space, easy to work with.
Cons: Even though the spec said LED fan, well guess what, NO LED at all =(, and twice the case come in damage and bent, the second time around it was minor so i don't feel like bothering about it anymore, cuz i don't want to wait any longer for RMA.
Summary: I've had this over a year now. It came beat up from UPS and I was shocked that nothing was broken inside. This thing is huge and heavy, but I can fit anything I want inside. The LED on the top fan stopped working after a month, but I didn't care. Wanted to add more than the two included fans, but found out that I would have to buy NZXT fans as they are not normal sizes. Included fan controller still works and the fans still run and are quiet.
Pros: Lots of room inside. Seems to be sturdy. Looks pretty cool - orange on black. Decent cable management. Built-in fan controller.
Cons: Included fans are proprietary to NZXT - non-standard size and the LEDs stopped working. Front audio jacks shorted out.
Cons: Top USB ports stopped working after a while, as well as the audio jack on the top. In retrospect, it would be nice to have a flat top, to store things if you'd like to charge them from the top USB ports (when they work.)
Summary: If you buy this case make sure the 200 mm fans will fit, Ordered one from NZXT and it won't fit, Called them and they flat out lied and said it say's it won't fit that case on the web site until I read ever thing it said about it, Then they said returnm it. Also the case has a senser to turn the fan's down but can't use the CPU fan with it because when booting up computer go's to Bios with a fan issue.
Summary: I have a mid sized case that fits just as much vertical space as this huge case because it doesnt have the protruding top and bottom. Maybe it personal preference but I dont think this is even close to the most functional case out there
Pros: Lots of space Good cable management Fan filter on bottom Good fans Mounts a double rad no problem
Cons: wasted space on top and front with the angled covers. cant put anything on the case or it will slide off. Only 1 USB3 port. The door is really though to put back on, could have really benefited from a hinge. the lights on the fan counter went out, and the plastic over them is coming loose The harddrive mounting option is really annoying with the little stoppers
Summary: Over all this case is a great buy. Just frustrated that something as simple as a bent thumbscrew was pretty blatantly missed by NZXT. I'm sure this doesn't happen very often though so don't hesitate to get this case.
Pros: This case is huge! Exactly what I was looking for in a case. I've done a lot of full tower builds with other cases before this one and this has some of the best cable management and space that I've seen thus far. Plenty of fans to start and room for a lot more. Also, the screwless drive bays are a nice bonus. Was also very reasonably priced for the case that it is
Cons: I'm really happy with this case over all but when the case arrived, I opened it up and one of the thumbscrews was bent. Not a life ender by any means but it kinda makes working on stuff a royal pain in the tookus. It couldn't have happened in shipping either cause the thing was surrounded in styrofoam in the box. So in that regard, I'm kinda disappointed with NZXT for shipping a case with a clearly bent thumb screw and hole. I'd RMA and return it but that would leave ...
Summary: I have a ticket logged with NZXT. I'll update you with their response.
Pros: Spacious and Quiet
Cons: Broke after 3 weeks of use. The door over the 5.25 bays up front fell off thanks to the cheap plastic hinge breaking. if you plan on using those bays I'd suggest glue reinforcement or another case.
Summary: The fan controller caused a bit of an issue. The LED lights on the controller flash at random intervals. I contacted NZXT about it and they said it was defective and they could replace it for free. Great, I thought. They said they would send me a tracking number when it sent, but two weeks later I hadn't heard from them. I inquired about it again. They had forgot, but then they sent it, and I got my tracking number. About three weeks later, it arrived.
Pros: -It will fit pretty much everything you want, unless you plan on having a massive heatsink and the 200mm side intake fan installed. -The fan controller is nice to have. -It feels sturdy. -High level of compatibility. -Provides great airflow with all fans. -Lots of room for cable management.
Cons: -Fan controller tends to be defective. Apparently it is very common. -Only excepts NZXT fans, although I fit a Noctua fan in the front slot with some gerry-rigging. -NZXT customer service isn't much help. -The dust screens are sub-par.
