Summary: Don't hesitate to buy this. System: NZXT Phantom 820 Asus Maximus Formula VII i-7 4790k G.Skill Sniper Series 16GB 2400 GTX Titan Black with backplate and ACX cooler EVGA 1000W PSU
Pros: This is a great case! NZXT has done a great job with build quality and looks. The built in LED lights are gorgeous and I love that they can be changed to whatever color you want by just spinning a dial. This case comes with plenty of fan mounting options and does a great job at keeping everything cool.
Summary: Again, this is a great case and anyone into building there own rigs would benefit from all the room available and fans that comes with this case. There are no additional fans needed. I run around 45C° with my setup.
Pros: This case is large enough to house everything you could imagine. The 820 looks amazing. The included fans and the dust trays make this case all the more worth the buy. The changeable led colors light up the interior making the rig look even better than expected. I highly recommend this case to anyone making their own rig.
Cons: The only real con there is to this is the clips for the hard drives are a little flimsy. Other than that, i have no complaints for this
Pros: Bought this case from some retail store because i didnt have the patience to wait for it with the rest of my new computer its front and top panels arent as flimsy as other reviewers claim and for something you should only have to do once every two months they come off quite easily for the experienced user the dust filters do their job and for something you rarely ever have to touch i dont see how they would be to flimsy unless you like to bend stuff to see if it break...
Cons: window could be bigger would prefer black fans instead of white but the lighting does look cool off the white and more dust covers wouldnt hurt because theres a couple zones near the back and sides where it would find its way in
Summary: Another thing I found was the large mass of cables inside the case when you open it up. I wouldn't consider this a con as they are nicely labeled so it easy to find out where they need to go but it isn't exactly a pro ether. They also have them all nicely zip tied down in the side panel which is a plus but it might mean you'll have to cut them to move the cables else where.
Pros: - Massive, will definitely fit everything and more - Pretty sturdy - Looks amazing When I bought this case I knew it was going to be huge but when it got here huge was a understatement, it is MASSIVE. Definitely capable of holding a lot of hardware while keeping airflow solid or if your into liquid cooling it certainly has room for that. The case itself is made from metal so it feels and looks sturdy which is a nice thing to have for a case. Outside the phantom 820 lo...
Cons: I found the instruction manual that came with the case very lacking in information, it not enough to remove an egg but you might need to search the interwebs to find out stuff. The hard drive trays seem a bit flimsy to me so you might want to be careful with them.
Pros: This case is amazing. Looks awesome, huge, cool lighting on the exterior and interior with the ability to change colors, TONS of included fans as well as dust filters for every possible fan slot and overall makes your build look like a monster. If your a fan of alienware, this case in its own way represents a similar style on its exterior. I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for an alternative to expensive cases such as the Cosmos 2.
Cons: None. Although, Instructions are terrible and took me some time to figure out how to get the fans and LEDs to work but all u need to do is to connect the huge 4 pin power connecter on the cable management side to the power supply to operate the fan controller, and hook up the sata connector also found on the cable management side to operate the LEDs and lighthing. Also, no dust filter for the side fan. These points are not worth deducting eggs.
Summary: Got this case a while ago when it was on sale. It's a huge, well designed case and it's excellent for airflow so far. I got it for future plans on water cooling and space requirements, since I didn't really know how long it was going to last and what all I'd be throwing at it. Needless to say, this thing is wonderful! I can never hear my fans in there, and the exhaust is always cool.
Summary: personally id rate it 3.5 stars out of 5. so about 70% out of 100.
Pros: ive had alot more time to go over everything with this case. - the fans are in perfect locations for cooling. - the extra fan mount supports a 120/140 fan infront of the -harddrive cages very nice touch to help cool your graphics card or ram. - colour scheme, hue lighting, the window and how the black vents pop out 3d is a very nice touch - i really like the easy access to the usb ports and how there on top of the case - very easy to install large heatsinks like the n...
Cons: - needs more space for cable management at the back - cheap feeling dust filters - fan wires and the wires included with this case feel cheap - door feels cheap and should open up about 180 degrees - the bottom of the case should be all metal with alot of holes in it instead of being wide open... if you have a few cords not tucked behind the case they can get in the way of the bottom front dust filter from opening and closing properly - top panel is very poorly design...
Pros: been using this case all day. i was expecting more. the fans are really weak that come with this case. they dont push alot of airflow thats dissapointing. i know they wanted quiet but id rather have a stronger fan and if its to loud turn it down with the fan controller. the front door that swings open to reveal your dvd,/BR drives is very cheap. its made of a very weak feeling plastic and it can break very easily if youre not careful. the bottom pedestal at the front ...
