Summary: When I took the case out of the box, I heard some metal piece rattling around, I figured it was just some loose hardware like a screw or something. I opened the case and found a pin dinkin' around on the inside, so I checked the door, and sure enough the top hinge pin was missing.
Pros: -Looks awesome -Fan controls are a plus -Convenient top I/O for on the desk or under the desk -Decent cable management -Keeps everything about 8 degrees cooler switching from a Cooler Master something-or-other, can't remember exactly what
Cons: -Factory derp (see other thoughts) -Power button is pretty sneaky, I found it on accident -No 3.5" drive bays, it's all adapters -Pretty cramped
Summary: All in all a solid case, it would have paid to do more homework on the interior space relative to the other devices I was installing. My bad, lesson learned. Would like a quick disconnect on front panel controls to make assembly and disassembly easier.
Pros: Cool looking, great CPU cut out that allows changing and update of CPU cooling. Drive installation ok, not great.
Cons: With all the write-ups from MaximumPC and the feedback thought this case could handle everything I was going to throw at it. My mistake, I didn't do enough research. Got a H70 CPU cooler to allow for OC in the future. Two fans have to come out to allow that installation with my ASUS motherboard a...
Summary: Considering the price you have to expect some compromise, however, there are many other options in this price range that are higher quality. Overall, I'm happy with the case... nice styling, great air flow, nice options. That being said, the quality is poor.
Pros: Excellent air flow. All black interior. Fan controller and temp probes. Did I say excellent air flow? Like wow. Nice cable management. Mounting system is decent. Comes with plenty of extra thump screws.
Cons: Side fan gets in way of some after market coolers, like h50 and h70. Metal, especially on back, is very thin and bends easily. Come from factory with several dents and bends in metal. Box that it was shipped in was completely clean so this damage came from the factory. Poor build quality. I accid...
Summary: I emailed NZXT when the front USB and audio did not work, they told me everything was plugged in at the factory, it wasn't. I had to disassemble the 75% of the case to get at the plugs.
Pros: Good Overall Design, excellent cooling.
Cons: Things that should be plugged are not, fan start rattling after a week. The case is painted black and so are the screws holding everything together, makes it difficult to take apart in low light situations.
Summary: Affordable, and okay. I'm a fan of the aesthetics.
Pros: The design is slick, the cable management is nice. For a mid-range computer with nothing particularly fancy going on, it's really nice. The big fans are at an okay noise level.
Cons: Manual doesn't really tell you what the deal with the "fan control" plugs are, and it's not totally clear what of the cables bundled in the back need to be plugged in. I plugged everything in and the top fan hasn't started spinning, so I'm not sure what exactly to do. Worst part though, the front...
Summary: I originally filed a return RMA with newegg due to having to fight with my mobo to get it to fit due to a slightly bowed I/O panel (which could just be my panel since the panel hole doesn't look deformed, although I've never had is not fit any other case), and overall flimsy metal.
Pros: The fans are fairly quiet and move a good amount of air. Low overall vibration too, but I might add some gaskets when I get a chance to cut down on it further. I was very impressed with the 200mm fans which move a massive amount of air at a near silent level. I really wish this case would have ha...
Cons: The case is very small overall. Cable management helps, but is far from perfect. Widening and heightening the case by 1cm in each direction would have easily made it far more versatile, and the fact that the narrow build coupled with the width of the 200mm door fan hinders the ability of using la...
