Summary: I bought this case on accident. Was going to use it, but didnt' come with a power supply. The last time i did system building was 15 years ago and quality was questionable then. It wasn't a build unless you bled. As a result, I used another cheap RAIDMAX case [and bled!] that came with a PS.
Pros: - Not a single sharp edge - Lots of bays - Amazing airflow - 2.5" adapter supports 2 drives - The case has instructions etched into it. - Quality Hardware [hand screws, and plenty, colored screwes for the MB mount. Quick release for drive bays]
Cons: I have little to complain about. Perhaps another 2.5" adapter. The 4th fan? I don't know, I have never had a case of this quality so, there you go.
Summary: Recommend this case to anyone wanting a menacing looking case for a good price.
Pros: Plenty of space, and it looks evil. What's not to like?
Cons: Not NZXT's fault, but UPS decided to use the case as a soccer ball and one of the hinges on the front panel was missing. I contacted NZXT and let them know a replacement hinge and that I could install it myself. I get a package from UPS with...an entire new front panel. Now i have a spare fan/the...
Summary: Had this case going on a year and since the beginning I've been meaning to change out the fans as they're the source of my only gripe with it (and my machine runs pretty hot). The large front and side fans work great, the top one not so much. Great case in nearly every regard though.
Pros: - Looks slick - Nice red lighting - Plenty of air flow - Temperature display (C and F) - Easy tooless drive bays
Cons: - Noisy included fans (at least some of them) - Bit cramped
Summary: When I took the case out of the box, I heard some metal piece rattling around, I figured it was just some loose hardware like a screw or something. I opened the case and found a pin dinkin' around on the inside, so I checked the door, and sure enough the top hinge pin was missing.
Pros: -Looks awesome -Fan controls are a plus -Convenient top I/O for on the desk or under the desk -Decent cable management -Keeps everything about 8 degrees cooler switching from a Cooler Master something-or-other, can't remember exactly what
Cons: -Factory derp (see other thoughts) -Power button is pretty sneaky, I found it on accident -No 3.5" drive bays, it's all adapters -Pretty cramped
Summary: Just buy it. This case seems to incorporate a lot of features from the $300 range cases. When NZXT developed this case, they were thinking about both function and form. Using this case, you will be able to tell it was well thought out and provides more than enough of everything.
Pros: - Holds triple radiator (360mm) on top without modifying or cutting. - Room for RAID with huge fan in front of HDD's. - Temperature readings work flawlessly. - Fan controller pushes three 120mm Yate Loons (high speed) at 100% output on a single channel. My old therm*lt*ke fan controller had troub...
Cons: - The top fan was cheap and a fan blade literally came flying off one day when I turned the fans up. Just replaced it with a 130mm quality fan. Good riddance because it turns out that fan was not balanced well and made some noise and vibration. - Wish it were a bit stronger. I know strength and w...
Summary: It's a good case for the price, but I wish there were not the space and fan problems.
Pros: Looks nice. Plenty of fans + additional fan slots. Temp display. Fan controller. Price.
Cons: Fans break easily. The fan I bought to replace my front 200mm fan would not fit in the space even though it was 200mm also. Also, some PC coolers may not clear the side fan. I did not have this trouble with a stock cooler on a lower wattage CPU
Summary: All in all a solid case, it would have paid to do more homework on the interior space relative to the other devices I was installing. My bad, lesson learned. Would like a quick disconnect on front panel controls to make assembly and disassembly easier.
Pros: Cool looking, great CPU cut out that allows changing and update of CPU cooling. Drive installation ok, not great.
Cons: With all the write-ups from MaximumPC and the feedback thought this case could handle everything I was going to throw at it. My mistake, I didn't do enough research. Got a H70 CPU cooler to allow for OC in the future. Two fans have to come out to allow that installation with my ASUS motherboard a...
Summary: I'd highly recommend this case. Aesthetically it looks great and I love how the red lights on the front are subtle and not BLINDING like many blue leds on a case. It just gives a light glow that looks pretty awesome.
Pros: This is a truly phenomenal case. The build quality all around is great. The cooling ability of this case is really amazing. It's not completely silent but you hear more "air" noise then any irritating fan noise since the fans are larger. Even then I can't hear it over anything else running in my ...
Cons: After building the whole computer, turning it on and seeing that everything was ok when I went to plug in the side fan one of the blades was slightly off balance and kept lightly hitting the side mesh making an irritating clicking sound. I just needed to unmount the fan and put a little pressure ...
Summary: I bought two of these when they went on sale for half price. One I used to build a new multimedia/Gaming PC which is fantastic. The other I used to house my old computer's innards which was a task.
Pros: This is a solid case for the price. Painted well on the inside and out. All the edges are very smooth and it's spacious inside for clean wiring. Outside of the case is clean and not tacky at all. The door construction is very strong and solid. The LED temp indicators work well when installed corr...
Cons: The external front panel for audio, USB, and eSATA connections can easily be disconnected when installing the CD drive in the top bay. The thumb screws can be a little crummy. The chroming on the screws can be a little thick which is what will strip the holes that hold the side doors closed in th...
