Summary: The look of the case is the reason to buy it. In most other aspects it falls a little short compared to many competitors. It isn't quiet. This is one thing I was expecting it to be, especially since some people noted that the fans weren't pushing that much air. My 7 year old Antec case was significantly quieter (at light load), which is a bit of disappointment. The NZXT case does push more air through the case and keeps it slightly cooler and quieter at full load.
Summary: Bought this based on the rave reviews from professional electronics sites and personal reviews. Let me first say the pros PROS: looks absolutely gorgeous. The compartment to hold the power supply and excess cables is ingenius. For a mid tower- it is water cooling ready, room for 240 or 360 rads. Cable management is simply the best your going to get anywhere near this price range.
Summary: Cannot imagine doing my first major gaming build with a different case. Stunning looks. Very simple and not too over the top. Cable management is on a toddler level. Displays all your components that your so proud of awesomely.
Summary: I bought it to replace my Antec 900 because it was just falling apart and the cable management on it has always been horrible. It's not really possible to not cable manage in this case with the power supply compartment. The drive bays are amazing. They are slide out trays with thumb screws that are attached. You won't lose a thumbscrew with this case. The only thumb screws not attached were the expansion bay covers.
Summary: This should say item out of stock, waited 1 month for my amazon prime shipped case (From my phone, so I was told 2 days) before cancelling and having a much nicer case shipped next day for half the cost. This case has horrid air flow and is designed to work with NZXT's own water cooling solutions. Thus making it crap otherwise.
Summary: Used various different cases in the past including a Corsair 750D. I would recommend the H440 above even that case because it looks great, functions great, requires little maintenance(cant even lose case case screws it's that good), and is very easy to water cool with either a closed or custom loop(if you wanted to you could use both a 280mm and 120mm radiator in it).
Summary: I am a big fan of NZXT, my last case was a full tower Switch 810. This case is beautiful in black and red and well designed in principle. It was difficult to work in after a full tower but I was able to squeeze a 240x45mm rad at the top as well as another 240x45 rad at the front to cool a pair of overclocked R9 290's and an overclocked i7 3770K.
Summary: It's a bit different to build in, but not too bad. It's strange, but you get used to it. In fact, I find that the cable management in this case is fantastic. When it arrived, there were a few chips in it, but nothing you really notice. I recommend waiting a little while, if you don't plan to build soon. I have a feeling that it's not the best quality because it's on backorder. 9.5/10, would greatly recommend over the Fractal Design Define R4.
