Summary: This thing is gorgeous and extremely functional, very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous case, one of the best looking ones in this price range. I can't stress how visually appealing it is, especially in an all black/red color scheme -Cable management -Memory foam type material for less noise -PSU cover -Ability to mount 2x 280mm radiators -Decent included fans (3 intake, 1 exhaust) -Bottom mount of 2.5mm drives -Light for the back is surprisingly useful -Plenty of room, think it can hold 10 HDD's (?) -Side window is visually appealing
Cons: I feel as though the front intake/back exhaust fans are just being choked by the small amount of ventilation. If I take the front and top panels off my temperatures drop by about 2-4 degrees. I know it's meant to be "silent" but they couldn't think of a better way than this? They could've at least added more ventilation to the front. This is the only reason why it lost an egg. Don't get me wrong, I adore this case, but I'd rather some more ventilation for the fans in ...
Pros: Cable management is good, power supply shroud is quite nice, great display window, lots of room, has an LED at the back to see your cables.
Cons: Not really a huge deal, but the front power button LED is too bright. It isn't blinding or anything but it's bright enough to see the plastic fins that keep the matte plastic together and it isn't a pleasing effect. I have an external hard drive and when the computer goes off, the hard drive stays on, and its blue light is annoying when I have to sleep. I'm not sure why USB powered stuff doesn't go off when the computer does, but it wouldn't bother me as much if the r...
Summary: I have only had this case a month. It is definitely one of the coolest looking cases I have used. I just wish that the airflow wasn't restricted. I have read reviews online who have warned against this, but I took a leap of faith and got the case anyway. If you want a more in depth review, I suggest looking up Hardware Cunucks on YouTube. They probably have some of the best case reviews on the internet.
Pros: This case is a breeze to work in. The PSU shroud does a great job of hiding cables and adds a nice touch to the overall look of the case. Rubber grommets are strategically placed to allow easy cable routing for components. The HDD bays are covered from the front side. This means that all of your work has to be done from the back of the case, but it does add a great deal to the overall look of the case.
Cons: I don't understand the method to NZXT's madness. Why provide ventilation to only one side of the front and top panels? Trust me, the panels constrict air flow by a noticeable amount. Granted, I have not added any extra fans beside what came stock, but just removing the front panel makes a 6C degree difference in cooling when gaming. Removing the top panels increases thermal performance even more. Don't get me wrong, the airflow is acceptable, but to see over 10C diffe...
Summary: Overall, this is a great computer case if you're targeting for aesthetic and silent. The sound-dampening foam is a nice touch but I hope NZXT would've leave a bigger gap for the cable management side panel. Like I said, the side panel is covered with a nice sound-dampening material but after all the cables are tided up, it leaves a mark on the sound-dampening material.
Pros: - clean looking, - silent, - PSU shroud, also a great place to hide those cables
Cons: - not enough cable management room on the side panel, - should have a better implementation for accessing the top and front cover
Summary: Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the case especially given the great reviews others have given it. I think I may have just received a bad sample out of the pool.
Pros: Case looks good, has a lot of space for various components. The 4 included fans are also a plus.
Cons: A few cons: 1. One of the stand-off screws for the motherboard was crooked. I originally thought my motherboard had mis-aligned screw holes and luckily did not damage it trying to make it fit the crooked stand-off screw. After re-orienting the screw, the screw hole in the case became stripped. Due to this, I wasn't able to fully tighten one motherboard screw. Hopefully this won't be a big deal as there are 7-8 other screws holding the mobo in place. 2. The 4 rubber fe...
Pros: Super quiet. Love the bottom NZXT illuminated cover for the Power Supply. Comes with four fans. Thank goodness there are no 5.25" drive bays. Four USB ports on the top/front. Rubber feet are nice and tall. Easy to take off front and top sections to clean filters. Removable drives.
Cons: The sound dampening pads reduce the amount of room behind the motherboard. Still enough room for cables though.
Summary: I've hear a lot of air flow issues on various forums. I personally haven't had any issues at all. I exchanged the rear exhaust fan for a corsair quiet fan.
Pros: This is a solid/heavy case. Looks amazing if themes are important to you. Easy cable management. Nice stock fans. Overall a great case.
Cons: Not as quiet as I thought ESPECIALLY after the fight I endured to get the rear case panel on. The foam gets in the way. I had to hold the top and bottom while my wife slid it forward to close it. Not gonna doc an egg for that though.
Summary: Some people have said/thought that with the front closed off with little ventilation that there could be issues, honestly, I had to add an extra fan, for exhaust. The intake amount is fine as long as you aren't trying to cook anything with your internals.
Pros: Very clean look, high quality materials, nothing flimsy here. More than enough room for HDD/SSDs, Fan filters! Very good cable management since the majority of the bottom of the case is hidden.
