Looks Great but a bit dissapointing overall.

  • Summary: A very attractive, but average case really. Would be OK for a budget build but you have the Fractal Define R5 sitting there for about 20 bucks more. I'd spend the extra 20 bucks if I had the decision to make again. The side panels on the H230 are thin. Drive trays are cheap plastic.
  • Pros: Very good looking case Good storage options Decent cable management Quiet
  • Cons: Build Quality is lacking Poor front USB Port placement Case is narrow - Will limit cooling options Better options in the price range

Good cable management (read cons), easy 5.25 drive install very sturdy with a single screw (but read the cons), easy 3.5 & 2.5 hard drive install (read cons),...
  • Pros: Beautiful, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Good Airflow, Good Cable Management, Plenty Of Screws Provided, Removable Hdd Cage, Solid built, Solid Side Panels, Water Cooling Ready

White NZXT H230 - Star Trooper finish Beautiful... read cons

  • Summary: Overall i gave the case 4 stars because after you are done getting to know it and finish your install you don't really want anything from it. You simply want to enjoy your build.....

Good cable management (read cons), easy 5.25 drive install very sturdy with a single screw (but read the cons), easy 3.5 & 2.5 hard drive install (read cons), beautiful star trooper finish (no cons here). • Cons: 1. Cable management - my biggest gripe is the CPU 8-pin power cable, there are hardly any Power supplies with a cable long enough to reach when managing cables behind the board so an extension is needed, i knew this and had an extention ready before installing. The bigger problem is that the hole...

Tons of room

John K., Newegg
20 December 2015
  • Summary: Love this case, have 3 will make it 4 if I ever need a 4th system
  • Pros: I now have 3 of these cases, so much space, will take the largest of Graphics card with lots of spare space for sli or crossfire Sound dampening works well very little noise gets out, even when GPU fans are on full
  • Cons: no top slot for fans or liquid cooling (will take single fan closed loop cooling units)

User Review

Alex F., Newegg
12 December 2015
  • Summary: Installing an extra 120mm fan in the front was a bit of a pain. The mounting holes are not meant for rubber screws, and the metal ones they provide with the case were too short.
  • Pros: Attractive, the bundled fans are quiet, and no extraneous lights.
  • Cons: This case runs hot, and air circulation is poor. It comes bundled with only two case fans, and an extra one is definitely needed. It is somewhat narrow, making cable management difficult. The HDD cradles are terrible. They are plastic and are meant to clip onto a 3.5" drive. However, if you are n...

You get what you pay for, nothing more.

Gerald G., Newegg
7 December 2015
  • Summary: Despite the cons, this case is robust and protects the inner workings reasonably well. The organization is great too and easy to assemble your hardware in. However, this is a tower more for a long term resident than a renter.
  • Pros: Case organization is very good, its everything you need in a tower.
  • Cons: Be careful moving it. The materials feel brittle and scratch easily. I'm an apartment dweller and moved about 6 months after I put a build in this tower. On my way from apartment to car the case lightly brushed on a plastic knob on my car door. That took a big chunk of the paint right out of the ...

Great Case, Weak Trays

Trenton D., Newegg
19 October 2015
  • Summary: Overall a great case for low to medium priced builds. If I were to do it again, I would buy a case with a swinging panel rather than ones that pop fully off but that is purely preference.
  • Pros: Comes with the included cables routed through the case in a clean and efficient manner. Easy to put on and off the siding. Feels sturdy and not very heavy.
  • Cons: Could use a few more screws as there weren't quite enough Stand offs. Harddrive trays feel flimsy and not very easy to put back in as there aren't any grooves or indention's for where it goes.

Great buy, Great price! Very nice and slick case.

  • Summary: Overall, this is probably my favorite case up to date. Price was a steal and it just looks great. This case was originally $60 on Ama-zon, then jumped up to $90 in 3 days while I had it in the cart. The demand must be high I guess? Thanks Newegg for hooking me up with a great refurb.
  • Pros: Figured I can't go too wrong with a refurb case as long as it holds my parts. Totally worth it, everything works as intended, front panel and USB 3 ports all work. Case came looking fresh and brand new. No marks/scratches at all. The case itself looks great, very nice glossy finish, very clean fe...
  • Cons: None really. Could maybe use some fan holes on top, but wouldn't make sense with the design.
