Great case for low price

David D., Newegg
  • Summary: As stated the case is a great case, if you can get pass the wire mess that you end up with because there is no good way to route the cables. I will hold everything that an average builder could want, I will state that If you plan to run liquid cooling... this is not the case for you.
  • Pros: Case looks good and the led lights are not to intense... just a nice soft glow. The case has good air flow and the fans included with the case are pretty quite. All the components mounting location were correct and the manufacturing is above average. Steel on the case is a nice thickness so it he...
  • Cons: I hate to say anything bad about this case because everything else is nicely done but... The cable management on this case is non-existent and if you load it up with drives you will end up with a tangle of wire. You will be supplied with 2 zip tie mounts that you may mount to the side of the case...

  • Pros: sleek, very sturdy, i love the cable managment in this case, and the cleaning of the components is real easy too.
  • Cons: HDD shelf might interfere with a bigger GPU otherwise perfect product.

Dissapointed

Rohann C., Newegg
11 June 2015
  • Summary: I haven't yet tested the temps but the airflow seems pretty good.
  • Pros: - Looks cool if you are into LED's and transformers. - Screw less drive bays make for an easy and hassle free install.
  • Cons: - GPU bracket screwless bracket was difficult to take off - Sever lack of cable management options, I have to squeeze on the side panel and stuff some of my loose psu cables in the HDD brackets. No ties or grommets. In this price bracket I would have expected better. - Case is a bit crammed, thou...

NZXT Guardian 921 RB

Davis G., Newegg
9 June 2015
  • Summary: Not sure if this is a common issue, but the cords hooked up to the ports on the front of the case were set up incorrectly. the cord that was supposed to be between the USB's there and the motherboard was actually hooked up to the headphone and mic input on the front, and vice versa.
  • Pros: Solid case, doesn't feel cheap 3 built in fans that ventilate well built in temperature sensors easy to remove panels
  • Cons: LED's aren't very bright front panel fan has a lot blocking the air it pushes out doesn't fit some video cards (my XFX GPU was too big)

Good starter case, if cable management isn't a priority

Eric S., Newegg
3 June 2015
  • Summary: I, sadly, don't think I could recommend this case to anyone. The tiny, tiny space given for cable routing is almost unforgivably small. This needs to be expanded before I could consider a recommendation.
  • Pros: The Guardian is a pretty good case. Unfortunately, it has a fair share of flaws. However, it does have some very good points to it. -Simple to build -Useful and accurate temperature monitors* -Decently efficient cooling design The case is well built and keeps my stuff quite cool despite the use o...
  • Cons: *Those temperature monitors work; kind of. Within minutes of receiving the case and turning it on, the monitor readout on the front panel burned out, nearly causing a fire. The panel was replaced by NZXT at no charge, but they sent the wrong color; I have a red front, blue rear. The case has very...

Sturdy, crowded.

Michael C., Newegg
1 June 2015
  • Summary: Very sturdy case, and nice looking. Everything went together more or less OK, EXCEPT... the video card (AMD Radeon R9 R290X) would not fit. There is a lip on the bottom of the upper drive bay enclosure that prevents the card from fitting.
  • Pros: All steel, 3 fans, room for one more. CPU, HDD, and SYS temp probes for front panel LCD All cables well labeled. Appropriately gamey-blingy with blue LEDs.
  • Cons: Drive bay enclosure prevents some video cards from fitting. Side panel fan takes a fair amount of space.

  • Cons: After making the computer the front LED lights and the temperature gage was not working those were the two main Reasons I bought this case for

  • Summary: Overall, once assembled, this is a very nice looking case. The layout is fine and I like the position of the front USB ports. There is plenty of room for expansion and cable arrangement. The case was packaged well for shipment.

Well Built Custom Case

Brandon B., Amazon
2 April 2015
  • Summary: This case is awesome! I love the temperature monitor that it has on the front of the case. The wires were a little confusing to figure out, but once you read the manual, it's easy to figure out. Obviously the color is not as bright as in the picture, but I expected that.

Pretty good, but not the greatest.

  • Summary: It's pretty sweet for the price but there are a few things I wasn't too happy about... One I ordered blue and got red, that's cool.. I have to blame the shipper on that not the manufacturer of this case.
