Excerpt: Our latest case here on the bench comes to us from Lian Li and is the PC-V354R. The V354R is a small form factor case that supports everything an avid LAN-goer needs in a portable gaming rig. Able to accommodate a powerhouse of a graphics card and the power supply to match it, the V354R is certainly in a league of many, but a class of few.
Lian Li PC-V354 - Electric Screwdriver Recommended

Excerpt: Lian Li's new mini tower, the all-aluminum PC-V354 comes in three colors and is equipped with a pair of dazzling LED-lit fans. It also has too many screws for its own good. Read on to find out why we think you'll need an electric screwdriver for this chassis.
Pros: Lightweight aluminum casing, Able to fit long graphics cards
Cons: Installation or maintenance process involves many screws
Summary: The Lian Li PC-V354 is essentially what we expected, a bigger version of the PC-Q08 for microATX boards with much of the same basic functionality. There is plenty of space for hard drives, a reasonably-sized CPU cooler, and a long graphics card. The larger volume and extra fans means it runs fairly cool, and the manual fan speed controller and memory card reader are nice additions.
Pros: Support for up to four fans, Fan speed controller, Can hold up to seven 3.5" HDDs, 14"+ graphics card clearance, Front card reader and USB 3.0
Cons: Prone to vibration, No power supply vent, Misaligned I/O shield?, Not ideal for a silent PC
Conclusion: The Lian Li Mini Q PC-V354 is a sleek Mini-ATX case that will not disappoint you if you're planning to build a compact gaming system or a HTPC with lots of storage capacity. Thanks to its aluminium construction it's very light and despite its compact size it offers almost as much expandability as a mid-tower case.
Summary: For a mATX case, the Mini Q PC-V354 is very flexible, supporting even top contenders such as the GeForce GTX 480 and Radeon HD 5970 . Installing a 23cm or shorter graphics card into this case can be done without sacrificing any of its storage capabilities. However, you'll have to remove one cage to use larger 24-31cm cards such as the GeForce GTX 480 and Radeon HD 5870 .
Conclusion: It’s a well put together chassis, don’t get me wrong. It’s got fantastic build quality, it cools well and it looks great; it’s not a bad case by any means, but I don’t know who would buy this over others already available. Its too small to support full gaming systems with big GPUs, coolers and PSUs and its really too big for a hideaway media system.
Pros: Looks great, Small form factor, Effective, quiet cooling
Cons: No toolless installation, No motherboard tray, No cable routing options, A bit pricey
Обзор и тестирование компактного корпуса Lian Li PC-V354A
22 August 2012
