Bad design

Anonymous, Newegg
22 February 2012
  • Summary: I am using a tower Lian Li case and that one is fine.
  • Pros: Made out of aluminium
  • Cons: The worst designed case I've ever owned. The case is hard to get into. You have to uninstall and reinstall a case fan to get to drive bays. The front panel is hard to put back on and have it look good. The paint comes off the black screws and look like junk after you use a screw driver on them. Horrible Design

John W., Newegg

  • Summary: The sliding motherboard meant any passive cooling video cards with large heat sinks would NOT clear the opening, making the case useless for serious HTPC applications.
  • Pros: - Aluminum
  • Cons: - Expensive - Side loading optical trays - Cramped interior

Horrible design concept

Robert E., Newegg
5 March 2011
  • Summary: This case is a MASSIVE failure. The frame is so flimsy that after disassembling the sides, removing the MB tray and THEN mounting the drives, the cae went so far out of square the back HDD fan and MB tray mount holes wouldn't line up. They weren't even close. This case is quite large and you really only get 2 internal and 2 external mount points. Also, whoever thought that sideways optical drives would be cool is an idiot.
  • Pros: Removable MB tray, rubber 'washers' for HDDs, 2x120mm fans in front for good airflow
  • Cons: The design of this case is just BAD. The workmanship and quality of construction is horrid. The 4 internal 5.25" bays are a lie. Try and put 4 CDROMS in there, try it.
