Great case

Gregory B., Newegg
7 April 2014
  • Pros: I also love this case. It has a lot of room, is very quiet, and is aluminum.
  • Cons: Case seems to be discontinued. Why? I would like to get another case, but can't find one.

Life Long Case

Daniel Z., Newegg
25 September 2012
  • Summary: Any case made out of solid aluminum is worth the money. This case will definately be with me for a very long time. I will change and change the fans until the case itself is destroyed.
  • Pros: Has usb 3 ports on top, fans are withholding there time limit. I leave my computer on 24-7 and nothing failed so far. I do have to clean the built in filters every 2 months but it is from being on carpet. The case is fairly heavy, heavy enough to settle into the carpet padding. the steel wheels h...
  • Cons: The support rail for the GPU is somewhat cheap. its from the plastic runners that are designed to actually releive the stress on the GPU. I have the ASUS GTX 580 that takes three slots. I used two supports which i locked the second one right below the one actually holding the card to reduce the p...

Awesome

Allen S., Newegg
19 April 2012
  • Summary: With the price drop and free shipping (2-day shipping), I couldn't pass on this case. I'm sure it will serve my needs for a long time!!
  • Pros: Huge case with a lot of premium features. Wheel are nice. Very quiet operation. I really like the reversible door hinge option and the ability to add 3 case fans on top.
  • Cons: As others have stated, the directions are next to useless.

Best case

Ciprian N., Newegg
22 March 2012
  • Summary: Overall awesome case. However, I could suggest some improvements. Price is crazy.
  • Pros: Professional look. Had to buy this because I didn't want a case that looks like a Christmas tree and a Firefighter truck at the same time. I cannot understand the style of the gaming cases, maybe I'm too old. Solid build, all aluminum. Many things I hated in prior cases have solutions in this one...
  • Cons: The case is really big. I can put my previous computer in there, the home server and there is still plenty of place to park my range rover inside. I read the reviews but did not understand how big it was until I saw it... If that is a con. If you can find a configuration that does not fit in ther...

User Review

William P., Newegg
23 December 2011
  • Pros: Big. Outstanding appearance, materials and workmanship. Easy to work inside. Big. Holds plenty of hard drives in well-ventilated cages. Quiet: The supplied fans and controller work very well. Did I mention it's pretty big?
  • Cons: Big. Could use more wire retention / management features, especially behind the motherboard tray. Power supply compartment is small and not well ventilated - not ideal for a fanless power supply. Fan filters are difficult to access for cleaning.

Big. Big. BIG.

Anonymous, Newegg
2 December 2011
  • Summary: I replaced an Antec 1200 with this case. The 1200 is a shrimp compared to this case.
  • Pros: Did I say it was big? OK. This case is cavernous. The fan layout makes this a cool box. There is room for so many drives, I can't imagine anyone ever filling all the slots. Air filters. Quiet!. Bottom power supply with air vent below PSU. All aluminum; even the wheels. Well constructed. Easy to w...
  • Cons: Only one and that is the reason for four stars instead of five. The case has a mother board tray. That should make installation a breeze. Should, but didn't. I removed the tray from the case and mounted the motherboard on the tray. Motherboard already had the CPU and air cooler mounted. Put in gr...

A real tower ! part 2

Anonymous, Newegg
25 October 2011
  • Pros: On top of my previous review : cable management. This chassis offers a myriad of possibilities, holes on the mobo plate are wide enough and « cut-proof » thanks to plastic protectors (which is good for protecting cables). ALl my cables are hidden between the mobo plate and the side panel. 2- Modu...
  • Cons: 1- No 5.25inch to 3.5 inch bay converter, which is odd for a chassis of this class, I had to buy one (the SilverStone FP55B is a perfect match for this chassis, with aluminum on its front cover brushed the same way as my chassis - vertically). 2- The CPU hole on the mobo plate is not designed for...

A real tower !

Anonymous, Newegg
19 October 2011
  • Summary: This is a huge tower chassis, and I had to use an extension for the 8-pin power supply cable attached to the CPU 8-pin power port. The 24-pins cable fits barely, but it fits when routing it between the motherboard tray and the right side-panel of the chassis (no cable management sacrifice)
  • Pros: 1- Excellent material (aluminum) 2- Spacious 3- Vibration dampening rubbers for mounting HDDs an d SSDs 4- Noise dampening material on all panels (front and side panels) 5- Cables are of perfect length for my ATX form factor ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 Motherboard.
  • Cons: 1- There's not enough room to slide in the tray with a 120mm active CPU cooler. Thus the removable tray is of no use, you must : either install the cooler after having secured the mobo on the tray and slide it back into the chassis ; either don't remove the tray at all and install the mobo into t...
