Good Case ... All Accessories NOT Included

Allen S., Newegg
13 November 2014
  • Summary: One of the reasons I wanted this case was the motherboard adapter with two USB connectors on the end of it, and the backplane adapter with the two slots cut in it to router a pair of cables into/out of the case. Since it came with NEITHER adapter, well ...
  • Pros: Very nice looking case. Compact yet spacious. Surprisingly good ventilation. Plenty of space for hard drives (up to six). VERY quiet fans. All aluminum, high quality construction. No sharp edges.
  • Cons: My only gripe with this case is that it did NOT come with all the accessories pictured. Show in the last picture (9 of 9) is a motherboard to two USB plugs adapter and a back-plane adapter with two slots to route cables in and out of the case. The only thing it came with is/was a USB 3.0 to USB 2...

not that great

Anonymous, Newegg
11 July 2014
  • Summary: I was expecting the aluminum case to make a bigger impression aesthetically, but its mostly black and you can hardly tell it's more than a black box unless you get close and see the brushed surface, which really isn't all that special to begin with. The case is light, but there's a reason for that.
  • Pros: see other

Careful with your PSU size

Anonymous, Newegg
1 May 2014
  • Summary: Wanted to like this case and I will continue to buy Lian-Li Full and Mid Towers, just staying away from their mini and HTPC cases from now on...
  • Pros: I'm, a Lian-Li guy, I use their cases exclusively. Finish and build are on par with what I expect from them. Lots of room for internal drives.
  • Cons: This will not fit any old ATX PSU, I picked up a CORSAIR RM750 and if you want to use the drive cages it will not fit, there is simply not enough room for the ATX power cables to fit wile having the main drive cage installed. I even tried a shorter Corsair PSU and still the cables were far gettin...

Poor Internal Design

David W., Newegg
10 July 2013
  • Summary: Lian Li has been building cases for a long time. They should be better at it by now. Very disappointed. Pales in comparison to Antec, Apple, Dell and most any other case out there. If you're the kind of person who likes to tinker with their PC; always adding new drives, video cards, etc.
  • Pros: Looks nice. Holds a lot of drives.
  • Cons: Horrible design. Thumb screws? Tool-less case? Drive sleds? These guys have never heard of them. Sides are held on by 6 tiny screws on each side. To install the optical drive, you have to take off both sides *and* remove the PSU. If you want to add memory or an extra card, you have to remove the ...

Ok case, not the best from Lian Li though

Dan P., Newegg
24 December 2010
  • Summary: (Continuted cons) you will have a headache. Also, the case is very flimsy. NOt solid at all. With all the components taking up so much space, I don't see how any airflow can exist. The powersupply just takes up so much room. That said, now everything is installed and it looks nice.
  • Pros: Its a cute little box. Small to tuck in the corner somewhere. If there was a power supply that is 1/16 the size of a normal power supply, this would be a great case.
  • Cons: First, the case arrived via UPS in its original box. Which I really don't like - picture this: UPS drops off the case when you are gone.....It looks like a brand new computer sitting outside your house! Now thats an invite for a thief! Ok, back to the review. The case box was pretty banged up. Th...

Schön aber viel Frust

SX482, geizhals.de
23 September 2014
