Love this Case

Anonymous, Newegg
27 October 2015
  • Pros: I really do love the aesthetics of this case. Assembly was a breeze. The look is just very simple which is what I like. Inside is very roomy and have stood up well since 2009.
  • Cons: Had one top fan (140 mm) fail after a few years. $10 fix. The other con is this case can't handle video cards longer than 290mm.

Top case

george g., Newegg
28 August 2012
  • Summary: Messed up my clear side panel and will have to replace. I recommend this case to all interested parities.
  • Pros: This Lian Li case is a beauty and you can add more fans to improve air flow. I have two 180 and four 120 fans running with Corsair 1050 psu and two evga 560ti video cards and three ssd 120 gb each. Included overkill of 16gb memory. I have owned this case for about two years and have been in and o...

Great case, just not for my application

Brian W., Newegg
30 August 2011
  • Pros: Light and very well made, with Lian-Li's attention to detail.
  • Cons: Turned out to be too short to fit both my motherboard and the Norco SS-500 hard drive modules I wanted to use in my media server. The modules ended up blocking the SATA ports on the mobo.

Perfect

Justin K., Newegg
9 August 2011
  • Summary: A little expensive for a computer case but you get what you pay for and this has, by far, been the best case I have ever worked with. A pleasure to build in.
  • Pros: Made of quality materials. Bottom mounted power supply. Good cooling and circulation. 9x5.25 bays. Excellent cable management. 98% tool-less. Looks good.
  • Cons: None so far.

Typical Lian-Li

Matthew M., Newegg
14 July 2011
  • Summary: Since the first time I put together a computer with a Lian Li case I have not built one for personal use with any other brand of case. This is about my 10th Lian-Li case and every one of them has served me well.
  • Pros: -Typical Lian-Li quality -Plenty of space to route cabling -Tons of space to work with -Plenty drive mounting options -Tool-less design - I only touched a screwdriver to mount a 3.5" memory card reader into a 5.25" adapter and to mount my CPU cooler...motherboard, et al, all tool-less -Incredibly...
  • Cons: Negative air pressure design, which isn't a con in and of itself, but I haven't had it long enough to determine dust permeability. It is very well filtered. Nothing should have to leak around the filters, but time will tell.

The Sleeper

Andrew W., Newegg
12 March 2011
  • Summary: I have seen a lot of cases, built a lot of computers and this case was everything I was looking for. No flash, no lights, no window, just pure function and a sleek look. Great layout and easy to work with.
  • Pros: Super light weight, solid construction and actually has a usable tool-less system. I've seen a lot of cases that claim to be tool-less but in fact require a screw driver or something else. This case really only requires you have at least one finger a thumb. Plenty of room for my dual 5770 crossfi...
  • Cons: Hard drive mounting system is a bit tricky to get seated correctly, but once its in, its in. Not a problem, just not as seemless and awesome as all the other features.

Excellent

David N., Newegg
27 February 2011
  • Summary: Long-time user of a Lian Li aluminum case know aluminum is soft and the steel screws will, if used even infrequently, strip the holes within a couple of years (instantly if cross threaded).
  • Pros: Excellent design and build quality, well ventilated, easy cabling behind rear side panel, no LEDs, almost tool less. Reviewers knock the PC-P50 (very gently) for several things: Only three 3.5” drive bays, non-removable mobo tray and too much emphasis on tool less design. IMHO, these points are a...
  • Cons: Quite audible, side panels secured by thumb screws, very, very easy to scratch, not completely tool less, no 5.25” to 3.5” adapters.
