Solid MATX case

Jonathon W., Newegg
25 March 2016
  • Summary: Using this for an mATX file server that houses a server board, a low power i3, and 4x 3.5" drives. So far it's been going for about 2 years without any flaws. The plans are eventually to expand it to 8 3.5" drives and 4 2.5" drives, and the included bays give lots of room for that.
  • Pros: Great build quality 3 included 120mm fans Space for 7 3.5" HDDs Thumbscrews everywhere Dust filters on intakes
  • Cons: Included fans are a bit louder than expected No 120mm rear exhaust, only space for an 80mm Not a huge amount of space in the back for cable routing

Nice case-Smallish

Victor B., Newegg
10 February 2014
  • Summary: I think I am going to like the smaller size and light weight as I live with this build.
  • Pros: Aluminum - light. Can fit full size power supplies+++. Lots of room for disk drives. Space for 2 external drives. Comes with 3 X 120mm fans installed. Well made.
  • Cons: Thought I could get a Cool Master Seidon 120M in the box. Fail. The only place to install a 120mm fan is in the top and there is not enough clearance between the fan and the radiator and the microATX motherboard - MSI-A88XM-E45 .

Best case I ever owned

Erick M., Newegg
25 November 2013
  • Summary: All cases should have top mounted USB and power buttons. Also this cause douse come with one USB 3.0 built in regardless of motherboard purchased. :)
  • Pros: This case is small and light. Witch is why I bought it, but more than that it is also very exesable. just unscrew four screw and boom you can take the, top off booth side the back the side mounted HardDrive slots everything that was hard to get too had an easy way around. Also to make it simpler ...
  • Cons: I did have to remove one of the side mounted HardDrive bays to fit my GTX 660 Video card, and the ATX motherboard I purchased is a really tight when applying the screws. But all in all a good case and I purchased it because it is small so cant complain to much about a tight squeeze.

another awesome case

Burlen L., Newegg
3 November 2013
  • Summary: when I started to put the system together I noticed that the drive basy blocked the sata ports on the rear of my mobo. I found 2 solution to it. The drive bay can be rotated 90 deg, or you could use right angle sata connectors.
  • Pros: well build, beautiful finish 3 fans, and vents for PS air intake supports full sized gpu supports full size ps (i used 550W) drive bays are reconfigurable usb 3 support
  • Cons: none

amazing

Anonymous, Newegg
2 May 2013
  • Summary: i was skeptical because of all the bad reviews, but thought what the hell; if something's wrong i can contact or have my cousin in taiwan contact their taiwanese support. i'm assuming the reason their international support is apparently so horrible is that their PR department is probably...
  • Pros: -so far none of the problems that appear to have plagued many other reviewers, such as no english documentation, front audio/mic jacks causing reboot, front bezel not secured well, have been experienced by me. -sturdy chassis. the walls may be thin, but the case chassis is strong. the aluminum fr...
  • Cons: -as others have said, the walls are kind of flimsy, i slightly remedied it with some acoustic dampening foam for a more weighted feel -included fans aren't the quietest, but i guess you shouldn't expect too much for this price, uATX or not (it was $80 on sale at the time). -as another review stat...

Simple & Functional

Roberto S., Newegg
27 April 2013
  • Summary: In a market saturated with cases that have all sorts of buttons, colors, lights, etc, it is refreshing to have something that looks great but is also simple. I have wanted to go with Lian-Li for previous builds, but was scared as I was not familiar with the brand.
  • Pros: - Polished aluminum finish. Simple, but great. Less is more. - For a MATX case, you definitely have room in there, I currently have a 7970 running. It required cable management to fit everything comfortably in there, but it fits fine. - Offers some really nice customization options as far as equi...
  • Cons: - Definitely not the easiest build I have done. Make sure the hard drive cages are mounted correctly in the direction you want or you may find you have to unscrew them and turn them around or something else. - Definitely need a screw-driver. This case is not tool-less. - Some thumb screws are tig...

dimensions are incorrect

David T., Newegg
12 April 2013
  • Summary: I was just about to order this one and checked the dimensions, which seemed odd, and they don't agree with that published on the Lian Li site - 7.4w x 15.2h x 18.1d
  • Pros: I've got a few Lian Li cases and they are all great.
  • Cons: none

Great Case

Wilkie F., Newegg
9 April 2013
  • Pros: Sleek looking case with tool-free design. Light aluminum construction. I love the color and finish and there are cool dust filters on all the fans and openings. It has a lower profile than regular mid-tower cases. Super quiet and runs Core i5 cool.
  • Cons: Aluminum is light but also has a flimsy feel to it. Brushed finish scratches pretty easy. The very top external drive bay almost interferes with the ports on top of the case. Seems like it should have more external bays for the size. A little pricey, but still pretty good.

Never bought into the hype..

Todd W., Newegg
9 February 2013
  • Summary: Would have been nice if it was black inside, too.
  • Pros: Used to hear that Lian Li cases were awesome, but I never bought into the hype. They were too expensive, I thought, but nice to look at. I will say, though, that after using this case my tune has changed. This is a seriously nice little case, you can fit a surprising amount of stuff into this tow...
  • Cons: Could use a little more room behind the motherboard tray for cable routing. Little concerned about the hard drive mounts interfering with motherboards that have side-mount SATA connectors. I flipped my mounts around backwards, which gave a little more room, but I don't think it would have worked ...

Nice case!

Chris G., Newegg
27 January 2013
  • Pros: With the hdd cage in place, it only fits up to 9.5" video cards, fyi. I ended up buying a EVGA 670 9.5" that fit great. awesome fans, this case is so quiet, even under benchmarking load i don't hear it. Also the thumbscrews for the hdds and such are awesome.
  • Cons: only fits a 9.5" video card with the hdds in place, so check that out beforehand if you plan on using it.
