Summary: Overall this is a good case. Lian Li is a brand that I still like and would absolutely buy their products again... I just wouldn't buy this particular case and wished I would have kept looking.
Pros: Typical Lian Li quality (very good). The finish is always nice. Good design for cooling. Not flashy in the sense that it doesn't have windows, pretty lights, and it doesn't look like it was dropped out of an alien spaceship. These are all good things.
Cons: I have quite a few gripes with this case. In no particular order: 1. No removable motherboard tray. 2. The 140mm opening in the top of the case for an additional fan. A: The motherboard is mounted extremely close to the top of the case... so that a fan either doesn't fit between, or just barely. ...
Summary: I have had several LianLi cases, and have nothing but praise for them. They are well designed, well made, and attractive. Unfortunately, the decision to put all the external ports and power, reset buttons on top was a mistake. My tower sits on the floor next to my table, and collects dust on top.
Pros: Good Looking Case Easy to install components Very well finished, inside and out
Cons: Power switch on TOP of case USB connectors on TOP of case Audio connectors on TOP of case
Pros: This case is super-light. It has plenty of room inside for clearance when using OEM type equipment. I can't speak to the clearance when using 3rd party cooling systems, however. The I/O ports on top of the box is a nice touch and to be honest it was the main attraction for me. The case has a nice...
Cons: It's super-light for a reason... lacks solid construction for exterior panels. The front panel cover does not seat all that well and comes off way too easily. Overall, it feels cheap. If you melted it down, you could pour the whole case into a thimble.
Summary: if you want to use something like corsair H20 solutions, which recommend drawing outside air into the case with the radiator fan, then you have to buy another 140MM fan for the top or you won't have any outgoing airflow; i'm using radiator fan to double as exhaust in the back.
Pros: classy look all alum construction plenty of space inside dust filters and quiet fans included
Cons: doesn't feel as premium a case as i've come to expect from lian-li, hence the review title
Summary: I could go on for a few more paragraphs but the Cons field above is limited to 1000 characters. The point is that these cases are vastly overrated and I feel like a sucker for buying into the hype.
Pros: Lightweight with the all aluminum construction. Plain professional look, not too flashy yet still impressive. Dual front intake. Quality fans. Raised power supply mount. USB 3.0 ports on top. Really wide (never have to worry about your CPU cooler being too tall). Fairly long for a mid tower; fits...
Cons: The drive cage blocks a lot of the air that comes in and there is nothing (aside from taking it out completely) that can be done about it. It can be rotated but only 180 degrees. This thing is a fingerprint magnet and scratches easily. Mine came somewhat pre-scratched (5 total on 3 separate panel...
Summary: Overall, its a nice case. Solid and good design. The bottom pads could be adjustable or larger. It sits close to the ground for a bottom PS. Except for the RMA on inop jacks, nice case.
Pros: Solid, lots of room, well designed. Optional 140mm fan.
Cons: RMA'd due to defective front headphone jack (dont know if the USB ports worked or not, just packed it back up). Cheap parts in a good case, I just dont get it. First time I ever had to RMA a case.
Summary: This case has quality materials and excellent workmanship. There is a removable plate on top to install another 140MM fan assyembly. I've looked for a part number for it but can't find one. This Manufactures has to make spare parts available or the cases function are useless.
Pros: Case is a thing of beauty. There was not a scratch or fingerprint on it. I almost felt I had to put on the white gloves to work on it and I paid a lot less than the listed price above. It was delivered in two days almost to the minute. It's well worth ever penny if your considering it.
Cons: I've only found two flaw with this case, it did'nt come with any HDD or SDD holders (or whatever they are called) that are needed to slide either drive into the internals drive bay rack. There are 6 empty slots and lots of screws and anti vibration rubber rings. This will subtract 2 eggs if I can...
Summary: I have gotten this case to work but I am a little disappointed in it due to fit and function problems. I have a PC-60F case and have no problems with it at all. Just wanted a new case fro my new build with a little better cooling.
Pros: Aluminum case ! Made By Lian Li
Cons: Where do I start at!! This is my 2nd Lian Li case I am disappointed in it. I had trouble with their adaptor I bought for USB 3.0 front connector why not put the correct cable in it why would you waste the 3.0 rear connectors for a top mounted one??? they now have the correct cable either included...
Summary: What I find most annoying about the current crop of cases is that in order to enable USB 3.0 connectivity on the top or front of the case, a long set of cables is provided which extend through the case to come out the back and plug in usb 3.0 connectors on the back of the motherboard.
Pros: As is typical of Lian-Li products, this is a well thought out and executed design. All aluminum chassis makes for great heat dissipation. An additional air intake under the power supply is a nice touch.
Cons: As the title says, it's not your father's Oldsmobile, which in this case I don't think is a good thing. I've used a bunch of Lian Li cases for builds over the last 10 years, and the new crop of cases is only similar to the jaw droppingly cool cases from 5 or 6 years ago in that both types are mad...
