Amazing

Kevin A., Newegg
22 June 2012
  • Summary: I think it is very worth getting. It's very unique in style. It's something you don't see every day.
  • Pros: Great size, amazing style. Venting is amazing. My case is cold to the touch no matter what. And taking it apart is a breeze.
  • Cons: If you want to use a liquid cpu cooler, you will have to do a small rig for the back fan and radiator. Both will not fit together inside the case because of the HHD baYs. I had to mount my back fan from the outside. Also, if you have a lot of wires, hiding them behind the motherboard like most ca...

Lian Li - Enough Said

Nate M., Newegg
11 May 2010
  • Summary: When I received this case the plastic clips that locks down the hard drive in place were backwards. I couldn't understand why i couldn't get my hard drives in. Finally I pull hard on the clips and they popped right out and turned the clips the right way and it worked perfect.
  • Pros: Where to start ... very easy to put together. Everything slides into place. Great air flow, very cool. I'm normally not one for clear sided cases just because of the fact it makes the case flimsy and love sturdy cases. But the window on this case is about a quarter of an inch thick, very solid. L...
  • Cons: Price, but they way i look at it is, i have how much money inside my case why have a cheap flimsy case instead of a sturdy case.

Form over function strikes again...

William G., Newegg
29 March 2010
  • Summary: I got this case because I wanted some thing different. Well thats what I got... I spent a week trying to turn this into a computer and after sitting on $1400 worth of computer parts I decided to return it and shop for a more traditional case.
  • Pros: Shape and color give this case a unique look unlike most others. I believe they were trying to make it look something like a sail boat. There are no sharp edges on this case at all, they've all been rounded over. Tons of cables, thumb screws and wires included! ....However...
  • Cons: ...this case is downright goofy inside. This is an ATX case, yet the power supply mounts above the MB. The hard drive cages mount above the MB too, the problem with this is I always use the Thermaltake V1, which is impossible to fit due to them hanging so low. The cages themselves are not functio...

MAJOR PROBLEMS ON A EXECLLENT CASE

Anonymous, Newegg
16 March 2010
  • Summary: UN LESS YOU ARE MECHANICALLY INCLINED AND HAVE ABOUT 6~8 HOURS TO WAIST TAKING THIS BEAST APART TO FIX THE HARD DRIVE RAIL LOCK PROBLEM THEN I SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS CASE . ITS BIG ITS PRETTY & ITS A BEAST BUT IT HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE HARD DRIVE RETENTION LOCK CLIPS KEEPING YOU FROM INSERTING...
  • Pros: NOT MUCH TO SAY EXCEPT VERY NICLY MADE SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP NICLY DESIGNED AND WELL MADE TO SAY AT THE LEAST. >> BUT<< SEE BELOW IN THE CONS SECTION.........
  • Cons: CASE IS NICLEY MAID EVERY THING FITS WELL AS IT SHOULD . THE MAJOR >> GRIPE << IS A MANAFACTURING >> E R R O R << RESULTING IN POSSABLY HAVING TO DISSASEMBLE THE ENTIRE CASE TO FIX A PROBLEM WITH THE HARD DRIVE MOUNTING SYSTEM. THE FIRST HARD DRIVE BAY IS A SNAP TO REMOVE JUST 4 SCREWS AND IT COM...

best case ever

Jacob B., Newegg
4 March 2010
  • Summary: The serial number of the case is engraved right on the back. Mine is 031. I haven't had this much fun building a PC in years. There's a speed control for the fans that's easy to reach and controls the lights as well.
  • Pros: The quality of workmanship on this case is simply outstanding and that's putting it mildly. There are steel cleats for almost every screw that you turn, not on the mobo tray :(, so you don't have to worry about stripping the aluminum threads. All the edges are smoothed so you don't gash yourself....
  • Cons: Word of advice- it is a stretch from the PSU to the bottom of the case. It's not really a con since it's a fairly tall case. I have a Thermaltake 1200W PSU but the power cables weren't long enough to reach the bottom video card (Crossfire) so I had to move the card up. This is not a problem with ...

Probably the last case I bought

Milena N., Newegg
12 February 2010
  • Summary: Well, for a $500 case I would like to see a thermometer and fan controls on the front of the case. Also 2 SSD bays could be very useful, I had to MAKE it fit
  • Pros: Awesome case. Very well build with quality materials, great ergonomics, stylish, it's definitely not a BOX people. No problems with cables what so ever, just remove the rear panel man...

  • Pros: Are you kidding! This case is absolutely incredible. It is built solid and strong. The case is made for ease of building. Everything accesible with the simple twist of a few thumbscrews. From the CD Rom drives to the Power Supply to the Removeable motherboard back plate. It is all so simple to bu...

Designed Wrong

Chanwoong C., Newegg
4 May 2009
  • Summary: Not worth over $500. I should bought better designed for $500. If you have thick PSU cables, you can't close your case.
  • Pros: Cool Look, Full Tower, Fans are hugh and quite, nice air cooling.
  • Cons: The PSU position and HDD position must be changed. PSU cables can't go through casue of HDD placing part is blocking. Some how I had to Pull down PSU cables really hard (may damaged my PSU cables) and it was really hard to close the case cause I had to pull down the PSU cables on the side of the ...

Trip

David S., Newegg
29 April 2009
  • Summary: This case is a trip.
  • Pros: This case is a trip--Lian Li makes mostly black and silver cases. When the do colors they dont fool around. I have the Crossfire case too.
  • Cons: used to be one
