Awesome Case/Horrible support from Lian li

Linda R., Newegg
8 March 2011
  • Pros: Beautiful case, well made, lots of room. Install was super easy. But there are plenty of beautiful, well made cases on the market today. See below.
  • Cons: My case came missing some of the clips that hold the front cover on. It's impossible to reach a person at Lian li, and I filed a claim with thier online email support. I was emailed a ticket number, but its been over 6 months and I haven't heard a single thing from them. I will never buy Lian Li ...

  • Summary: Well worth the extra money. My next case will be a Lian Li.
  • Pros: This case is the nicest case I've ever owned. Stock fans are nearly silent. Case is nice and big so it will fit nearly any video card. The design is fantastic and easy to cool and work with.
  • Cons: A bit on the pricey side.

User Review

Elliot B., Newegg
26 January 2011
  • Summary: If you are thinking about buying this case and are on the fence, understand that this is the sort of case that will last you MANY builds.
  • Pros: Tool-less design and extremely well made. All aluminum case is a thousand times better than those plastic cases that you see all to often. Vents air very well even without adding anything to the case (Lianli has a long list of mods that you can add to their cases). Computer temp stays cool even o...
  • Cons: Only one that I can think of and its minor is that the USB/headset hookups on the top have no covering and will eventually just be a bucket to accept dust.

Come on Lian Li...

Donald S., Newegg
19 December 2010
  • Summary: Newegg doesn't stock the cover I need. I've had 10 lian li cases in the past that were great, but this experience tells me that I should stick with something else if I'm going to do a simple modification like adding a fan.
  • Pros: Nice looking case. Lots of room tool less design is nice. Newegg got the case here quickly and UPS didn't damage it at all.
  • Cons: the top of this case has a space to put in a fan. I started removing the screws and they were in so tight, and because they are made of aluminum, they stripped and rounded out very easily. I've done this before and used the proper sized screw driver head. They are in way to tight, and way to soft...

Black Beauty

16 December 2010
  • Summary: I would totally buy this case again, if it came to it.
  • Pros: This case is so nicely built... no sharp edges, all black design, thoughtful placement of holes of which to route wires through, amazing Lian-Li didn't win the Nobel Prize.
  • Cons: That the few plastic parts weren't made of aluminum as well.

Well designed case

Ying K., Newegg
29 November 2010
  • Summary: Nonetheless this is an awesome case. My cousin bought another Taiwanese made case, when it arrived we knew well Lian-Li designed cases. Thought was really put into this design. Highly recommended.
  • Pros: 1. Great tool-less design 2. Drive bay is very convenient 3. Front USB 3.0 port connection (though the design is rather make-shift, but I can't blame Lian-Li since at the moment there are no motherboards with front USB 3.0 headers. 4. Black anodized aluminum brushed inside and outside 5. Dust fil...
  • Cons: 1. Can get scratched up easily 2. Front fan that came with the case is pretty loud, it's actually the loudest fan in my system 3. Pricey for size range

All that I expected! Been wanting it for a awhile.

Kenny N., Newegg
4 November 2010
  • Pros: Very nice quality construction. Solid built. USB 3.0. Tooless design. Window. Removable aluminum hard drive trays. Hard Drive tray can be mounted the other way, to hide your cables towards the back. Plenty of room in the back run cables, I can barely see any cables at all in my case! Awesome brus...
  • Cons: None at all? Maybe they need to bring back their old filters (sponge like). It worked very well, instead of the panty hose style filter.

Definitely Worth the Money!

Philip M., Newegg
25 October 2010
  • Summary: A great case. As mentioned before, despite the case being expensive, it is "definitely worth the money!" If you are considering this case, just go for it. The USB 3.0 ports are great, only a couple cases have them and this is by far the best of those.
  • Pros: For my second build, I had decided to go with higher quality materials. After spending much time researching the various cases out there, I found this one. I was reluctant, at first, due to the price. However, I took a chance and decided to order it. I am in no way disappointed. For starters, the...
  • Cons: This case is absolutely amazing. There are no actual cons for the case, but here are some that one should know: ~Very large case for mid-tower size ~The USB 3.0 ports are just basically extension cables that connect into the back port panel of the motherboard ~The ports are on top of the case (no...

14 September 2010
  • Summary: I'll definitely buy this case again.. easily!
  • Pros: I wasnt expecting much from this case as i already own a Lian Li and while my old one is a good case with great production value, this case just blows it out of the water. All new for 2010 is the tool-less design. Adding a PCI card is as easy as flipping a switch. Just great overall design.
  • Cons: If you've got a big honking cpu cooler in the case there are spaces you cant reach in terms of the thumb screws that hold down the motherboard. So your only choice is to use a tool.

Best ATX Mid Tower

Kevin K., Newegg
13 August 2010
  • Summary: You don't wanna go cheap with cases especially if you are building a system with latest components.
  • Pros: Black aluminum is made in high quality both inside and outside. Very light in its weight compared to other aluminum cases. Toolless design snaps in all the components smoothly. Extremely good cooling and quiet fans. Availability of optional liquid cooling. Luxurious front panel interface, power b...
  • Cons: $200 for a case.
