Inwin GT1, bittersweet, or just bitter

Connor P., Newegg
23 April 2015
  • Summary: Maybe i am being too hard on this case. If you plan to put very light components, and don't have many plans for upgrading, this could be a great choice, but for gamers and enthusiasts who want a value mid tower for the future, this is not for you, look elsewhere, This case is amazing in theory, and...
  • Pros: To start off, this case has great build quality for the price, you get a very rigid and heavy frame, with side panels that have very little flex. One very large window on this model, that has a slight smoke to it. Air flow for the most part is decent ( if you can get fans to mount properly, expla...
  • Cons: Now for the cons, and boy are there a lot of them. to start, i have been using this case for a long time, and have upgraded from mediocre parts, to enthusiast grade parts all with this case. First and fore most, in terms of fan mounts, this case absolutely blows. The two supplied fans are decent,...

Great Chassis

Michael H., Newegg
31 March 2015
  • Summary: I'd recommend this chassis any time. It's not only aesthetically a work of art, but it's very roomy. I'm not sure if my stock heatsink is doing such a good job, or if this case is just catching the breeze.
  • Pros: -Beautiful design -Good airflow -A lot of expansion bays for HDD/ODD -HDD Hot-swap bay on the top!!
  • Cons: -Front Panel becoming a bit flimsy; It has been over a year now, so it's not a big deal. It's not too bad,

Very good case, a few problems

Alex M., Newegg
1 March 2015
  • Pros: The top drive bay worked well for looking at some of my old hard drives, very nice fans that come with it, fan control works great and is simple to figure out. The HDD status lights are very cool. This is easily one of the best cases for the price you can get. (For those of you having trouble wit...
  • Cons: The front window came semi scratched and the PCI blockers are very hard to get out.

Not Bad

Zachary W., Newegg
23 February 2015
  • Summary: I'd consider buying from them again. Hopefully everything on the case works when I get all of my parts in.
  • Pros: This case is fairly sturdy. It comes with all the standoffs, and screws that you'll need.
  • Cons: Only 3 case screws... I am missing one. This is why I am only giving it 4 starts

Good case

corey b., Newegg
2 February 2015
  • Summary: I would recomend buying this case if you're looking for something practical and nice looking. I also used the grill on the top of the unit to mount a 10 port usb hub using a screw into the holes, works well and does not cause any damage.
  • Pros: The overall build of the case is sturdy and it sits high from the ground to allow for good cooling from the bottom. It aslo includes a good amount of room behind the motherboard for cable management that got my built looking very neat and tidy. The case also includes a place to hook a padlock to ...
  • Cons: The is not enough room to put standoffs. The case comes with standoffs but it has raised bumps where the standoffs go (built in standoffs maybe) that just seem very impractical. I had to mount my motherboard directly to the ''bumps'' which I did not like doing but was the only thing I could do to...

Great Case

Artsiom S., Newegg
1 January 2015
  • Pros: I bought this case without seeing it which is rare. I was actually glad the red little pieces are optional to put in. I left them out so my case is all black. I have some pretty big GPU's and it handles it fine with more than enough space. Also, airflow is great and the turbo switch makes things ...
  • Cons: The Front Fan that comes with the case is loud at Silence settings, but in the future I'll replace it. Also, this case does not have enough space for cable management

Style as Hubris

Karl A., Newegg
19 December 2014
  • Summary: As others mentioned, the screws holding in the 2 fans that come with the case will strip easily. The GT1 came to me with no manual and no hardware. An email to their website and they offered to ship them to me - but they didn't ship them until 3 days later.
  • Pros: Stylish, and with some very nice features. If I were doing a simple build, I would totally go with this box. Lots of slots for HDD and lots of places for cooling fans. The case comes with rubber O-rings to shock-proof HDDs, which I thought was a neat idea. It's been a while since I saw a new case.
  • Cons: The stylish hexagon ports on the top. There are slots for two 120mm fans up top, so the vent area needs to be larger, and not occluded by style. This case will not fit a radiator for liquid cooling, which is going to be a part of my build. So I RMA'd the case under the Iron Egg Guarantee. (that's...
