Summary: This is a three+ year follow-up having owned the case. It's not perfect, but it's unique. First up, that stupid blue "Corona" light? I plugged it in for 30 seconds, then cut the wire. It's a complete waste. Cable management?
Summary: I like the look and feel of this case, and the vertically mounted ODD is a unique touch, but the poor cooling options would just not work for my setup. After 2 hours of World at War zombies, my CPU actually reached 100 deg. C according to an app whos name I cannot remember.
Pros: - Nice, sleek design - Power button has a nice click - Fits a GTX 275 with about 1/4" to spare, just enough for cables
Cons: - Only comes with 1 80mm fan - No mounts for 120mm fans - Compact design makes for cooling issues
Summary: When you have two hard drives mounted at once, there is little room for air circulation between them. It might be a good idea to mod one of the side panels so you can get more air in there.
Pros: I chose this case because I like the vertically mounting drives and the sleek glossy look. I've had no trouble with the optical drive jamming as some of the other reviewers have (using a sony litescribe).
Cons: The housing gets a bit on the hotter side when I do any sort of gaming. I have a geforce 9500 gso installed in one of the pcie slots and I think it disrupts a lot of the air circulation. I would recommend getting one or two small, additional case fans to help with this.
Summary: I bought this because I wanted a powerful system in a small footprint, and this is probably the smallest full ATX case that takes a full size video card. As this will be a multi-use system I also wanted to have enough fan mounts so that I could use low-noise fands and still get good cooling.
Pros: It's A nicely made case, the fit and finish is quite nice, and the design of the case allows it to fit an ATX motherboard and PSU along with a full size Video Card in a minitower case. There is also about a 1.5" space above the vent on the right side of the case in front of the PSU where spare PS...
Cons: It only has one ODD drive bay, and no 3.5 floppy bays. It can only fit 2HDD in most situations, one of the reviews for the GMC TOAST (Same product, but different front) says that GMC will send you a second HDD cage, which would mount to the front of the lower half of the case, and double capacity...
Summary: If anyone has experienced similar problem please let us know which drives worked for you. Thanks.
Pros: Very nice, high quality, lightweight and innovative case!
Cons: Not all DVD/CD drives may work when mounted vertically! I tried Lite-On and Sony DVD burners and both jam and won't open when mounted vertically. As soon as I slightly incline the case back the drives both open without any problem. Have not tried any other drives as I don't have any more. Manufac...
Pros: I've been Building Computers for about 6 Years now and I've seen all kinds of cases, I really got a kick out of this one. The drop down Disc drive is kinda cool. The ring of light or "corona" is soothing at night. The inside is pretty nice, rolled edges on the metal which is always a pro, my hand...
Summary: I was concerned about this case's unconventional design and lack of reviews. But went for it anyway. I'm very happy I did. I've built a lot of computers and I really like this case. The details are well thought out and the quality is great. No sharp edges or skinned knuckles herer.
Pros: Small Form Factor, Very Pretty, High Quality, CPU cooling fan difuser telescopes down to the CPU fan
