Exellent case

David B., Newegg
14 October 2012
  • Summary: These cases keep going out of stock, I hope Gigabyte keeps making this case because I don't want to have to stock up on them now for future builds. Do not discontinue this case!
  • Pros: Solid case, so easy to build computers with this one, nice looking.
  • Cons: none

Best Case Ever

Timothy W., Newegg
13 December 2011
  • Summary: If your looking for one case to buy this is it.
  • Pros: I purchased this case 2 1/2 years ago. This is hands down the best case i have ever owned. Been building computers since 1997. Recently ordered new parts for a rebuild and will continue to use this case. Just replacing the power supply with a more powerful one. I love the screwless option. It is ...
  • Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this case. However since i purchased it newegg has raised the price on it by $15. This is still an awesome case for the money.

Great Case

Christopher W., Newegg
6 June 2011
  • Summary: Two thumbscrews to open and close case. Very easy. Case is very sturdy and does not easily flex. Plenty of room. If you need a good case at a reasonable price, look no further. Owned for 7 months. Very happy.
  • Pros: Nice mid tower. Everything fits fine, including Zalman 9900A CPU cooler. Very quiet. Case fans are barely audible.
  • Cons: Bright blue LED on front.

Good Case

Anonymous, Newegg
19 April 2011
  • Summary: Good overall
  • Pros: Was a very solid case, and lasted through the entire life of the computer without any problems. A good and worthy buy for a regular computer, nothing too hot.
  • Cons: Wish there were more air flow, but it was enough for what I used it for.

My Favorite Case!

Anonymous, Newegg
13 December 2010
  • Summary: Yes, one of the LEDs is too bright, lol. Wish this case was not out of stock right now.
  • Pros: The builder will appreciate the little touches inside that make this case such a pleasure to work with. You will need to use far fewer screws than usual, as provided rails are so easy to use, and allow easy access to drives. Add on cards install firmly with a convenient snap. The fan cables, fron...
  • Cons: More 5 1/4 front slots than needed, and only three 3.5' drive slots inside. The reverse might be better if you need lots of hard drives. But with the huge drives available now, who cares.

Lovely Tower Case

Stephano G., Newegg
24 November 2010
  • Summary: I love the case I just did a few mods to it and it's great
  • Pros: Nice and plain Tower Case just like I like it so I can put my soda on top lol
  • Cons: Blue power lights and reset button too bright I just used Black tape to cover them. Not good if you using the new Video Card makes it really hard to get to your SATA ports.

The Best Case Ever

Brett W., Newegg
11 November 2010
  • Summary: For anyone looking for a PC case, look no further the Gigabyte.
  • Pros: This has to be the best case I have ever owned. Not only is the price right, but the case is functional and stylish. The two fans help the keep it cool inside and panels are easy to remove and replace. What really sold me was the placement of the hard drive slots. I can eaisly slide in and out ha...
  • Cons: The only con I would have on this case would be the screw free bay drives. I can't get the front face of my blu-ray drive flush with the front of the case. I also think the Power and HDD activity lights could be dimmer, but all I had to do was disconnect the Power LED.

just what I wanted

Arjuna L., Newegg
5 November 2010
  • Summary: The sideways removable 3.5" drive bays at the bottom of the front of the case are an interesting touch. I don't know how they affect airflow, but they certainly make managing and removing hard drives a LOT easier than in many other cases I've used, especially when the rat's nest of wires gets...
  • Pros: Why is it so hard to find cases like this? It's exactly what I wanted from a case. It's sturdy and solid without being bulky. It's got a very simple, classy black aesthetic. The front panel is anodized aluminium instead of plastic, which is a nice touch. It has a firewire port on the front. The t...
  • Cons: Quality of the front ports is not great, but not by any means the worst I've seen. USB ports are a little 'sticky', for example. Also, mid-atx is a bit misleading - I found this case to be pretty full-sized. It's not huge, but it will dwarf the Dell tower in your work office.

liked it so much I bought another

Ulysses H., Newegg
4 November 2010
  • Summary: ever since i first saw this case at a now defunct computer store i liked it I wanted another one for a long time after getting the first one. I'm super stoked to have both the PCs by my desk now housed in these fantastic cases.
  • Pros: best looking case under $100 (in my opinion) I have two computers right next to me one has been for sometime housed in a triton 180 the other was in an old 80mm fan having mid. Ordered another triton during the shipping promo (sorry if y'all missed that one =p) anyways the reduction in noise ditc...
  • Cons: for some reason both of the tritons i have bought have had one (upper right (if viewing from front) thumb screw whole for side panel kinda wonky... my first case the issue sort of has "solved" it self over time as the screw hole got broken in hopefully this will be the case with the new case also...

High Quality Case

Anonymous, Newegg
13 October 2010
  • Summary: After looking at the hundreds of cases that New Egg has to offer, I narrow it down to this one everytime. If your looking for a case to trick out with LED fans and a side window to show off your stuff, then this case is not for you.
  • Pros: New Egg is awsome to order from, as usual they came through as they said. I placed my order late on Sunday night, it was shipped on Monday from California and I received it in New Hampshire Wednesday before noon. This is my second build using the Gigiabyte "Triton" case. This time I actually took...
  • Cons: Absolutely None!
