Summary: Since writing my last review (http://www.newegg.com/profile/reviews/Yk9OY0p0RTg5UzVvNzJwYjBqM2ozYThxNlRjTDU0Vnk=), I have contacted Fractal Design, and they sent me a full set of replacement feet for free. Changing out the feet is as simple as removing a screw.
Summary: This is a nice, sleek looking case. The side panels and parts of the other sides have thick sound dampening padding that does work, but adds quiet a bit of weight. Unfortunately, my case was delivered with one of the feet broken off.
Pros: Sleek look, plenty of room for components, quiet
Cons: Very large, some cables were not long enough to stretch from psu to top of mobo.
Summary: The case is very well build, very good build quality. The nearly all steel construction gives it a significant amount of heft, though that's to be expected. Each access ports for USB and headsets near the power switch. It has four bays for external drives, which is pretty excellent.
Pros: -Fantastic build quality -Nearly all steel design -Exceptionally roomy -Both sides come off, allowing easy organization of cabline -Excellent noise dampening
Cons: -Very heavy (what do you expect with a massive metal case?)
Summary: Overall, this is probably the best, easiest-to-deal-with case I've ever used (building PCs since mid-90s). The attention to detail is fantastic. No sharp edges, the case fan at the bottom has a metal grille to keep cables from fouling it, cable management holes have rubber edging and airflow...
Pros: - Excellent attention to detail - Lots of space (great for very long gfx cards) - Case fan voltage control (5/7/12 volts) - Good cable management - Space at the top for 120-140mm radiators and fans - Comprehensive set of mounting hardware and screws
Cons: - Sound insulation on case sides is very thin - A few places seem to have been cheaped out on (see other thoughts) - Black, very, very black (see other thoughts)
Summary: There are seven case fan mount locations, I filled six of those with Noctua fans, leaving the side fan mount covered. I am very, very bad at cable management. I have built more than a dozen computers from scratch over 20+ years, and I'm not proud to say each one is a cable spaghetti nightmare,...
Pros: Good packing material, made it to me with no damage. Solid case, very high quality. Lots of room, easy to remove HDD cages. The side panels are very thick and heavy. Full complement of hardware included.
Cons: Would like to see SSD caddies included. Case feet could be taller to allow better airflow.
Summary: Aesthetics aren't the top priority for a computer case but they do help. Love the plain face of this case. Tall, black, smooth. I was initially drawn to this case because it resembles the monolith from 2001 space odyssey. Not sure if anyone else had this problem but i know i did.
Pros: -huge -strong/ high quality feel -usb 3.0 near front of case -all the internal bays you would ever need -wonderful cable management -the soundproof panels are a bonus
Cons: -heavy -could be considered "too big" see other thoughts
Summary: The only other note I will make is, you likely will need long sata cables. I had to change my short ones because of where the hook ups were at on my mother board and just because the case was so large.
Pros: More room than you would actually believe. I consider this a pro, some may consider this a con, but the case is very heavy. I like this because there is no chance of it getting knocked over by anything (such as little kids). If you are a little person you might consider a lighter case, after you ...
