Summary: I bought this case after a decent amount of research. I was looking for a crisp, professional looking case that would keep my components cool while staying quiet. My last case (Raidmax Smilodon) had Green LEDs and many, many 80mm fans that annoyed some... visitors in my dorm room.
Pros: - Sleek - Minimalistic - Quality Materials - Great Features Professional looking with great cooling performance. There are no sharp edges in this nicely painted and constructed case. Removing the fans and their respective filters is extremely easy. The magnetic door on the front is a nice touch a...
Cons: The feet on the bottom may not be tall enough to elevate the bottom fans off the floor enough to breathe properly if you place this case on a carpeted surface. Not a big deal in my case, however.
Summary: It's a case. It's insanely quiet. Buy it! If you are sick of that humming case sitting by your feet like I was.... replace it with this! I built a friend a rig with this case about 6 months ago and I've been jealous since.
Pros: Silent, not quiet, Silent Solid build quality Good cable management
Cons: It took me some time to find the screws, they were hidden inside the case. The price fluctuated but I just used newegg's price alert feature and bought when it was @ my price.
Summary: If you like how it looks, buy it and you will never have need to replace the case.
Pros: I am absolutely impressed with this case. Especially with the price tag. Paid 75 with tax.I build a few PC's a year and so far this case beats anything I have ever used. Even cases that cost double than this one. I love how easily you can take the air filters out for cleaning. Supplied fans are g...
Summary: I have numerous higher-end cases from Antec, NZXT and Corsair and this Fractal Design unit is easily as impressive as those. I have never worked with a case that was so well designed (to work in) and user friendly. I got this on a whim when it was Seventy dollars and I feel like I stole it.
Pros: This case is well thought out in every conceivable way. In addition to all the things you'd come to expect in this price range are all the little details that you don't see elsewhere: --Extra, rear SSD mounts. --Removable and adjustable HDD bay. --Easy and effective fan filters and fan cleaning. ...
Cons: --Heavy and LARGE. (not necessarily a con, but it's a beast). --No proper HDD light (only a power LED). --Power LED is kind of bright.
Summary: I'm in love with this case. It's heavy at around 27 lbs., but that’s fine in my book; in fact I like it. I bought this to fit my build into since the Antec GX500 that I originally purchased wouldn’t fit my cooler, a Corsair H110i.
Pros: • It fits a 240mm radiator • substantial and sturdy construction • well-thought out design • understated aesthetics • 2xUSB 3.0 and 2xUSB2.0 on the front • dust grilles that are removable for cleaning • open under the processor for easy cooler mounting • many high-quality grommets for cable manag...
Cons: • While a 240mm radiator will fit in the top of the case, both of the standard 120mm fans that came with it won’t fit • More room behind the 3.5” bays would have been nice • Using the built-in controller for the fans would mean needing to use an older Molex power connector
Summary: All in all, a great case. Very quite and it looks good. Aside from some minor issues I am very satisfied with it. I paid a little more than I was initially planning on spending on a case, but this was worth it. Very well built and sturdy, doesn't feel cheap.
Pros: --Very quiet --Comes with built in fans --Lots of space for GPU and cable management --More HDD trays then you will ever need --Looks good, very sleek --Expansion slots in back are metal and can be reinstalled if need be.
Cons: --A bit wider and heavier than I expected, guess I should have paid closer attention to the listed specs. --Front panel has its hinges on the left instead of right. Because the window is also on the left, you will want the tower to your right so you can actually see inside, meaning the door opens...
Pros: This is a big beautiful case without any silly windows. As far as computers are concerned, I'm much more concerned with what's happening on screen than inside the case. Not all would agree, but I bought this case because it is a big beautiful black case without any cheesy plexiglass windows for m...
Cons: Couldn't fit a Corsair H105 liquid cooler with my Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK mother board. This was my mistake though, Fractal does recommend liquid coolers that fit this case and the H105 was not one of them.
Summary: If you are thinking of buying it, don't wait.
Pros: With the right fans, this case serves its main purpose, which is silence. The minimalist design is very appealing. Extremely well-built. Plenty of room for larger cooling requirements. Best case I have ever owned.
